MP40 Purchase

OK...I think I am finally ready to purchase the MP40w ES.....everywhere I look it seems they are $445......ANYONE know of any that are cheaper???
This is gonna go on one side of the 225G....hopefully eliminating some of my powerheads....I currently have 6 running....maybe I can get rid of 3????

buy it at aquacave.com with discount code RC5. i recently got one myself, and the flow is unbelievable. the mp60 just came out but cost a lot more.

Meowzer, I was able to look into it a little more, I wouldn't do the mp20 conversion with the upgraded driver, no warranty and it doesn't produce the same power. If the tank was smaller, it might've worked, but not on your monster.

I can not believe I just spent over $400 for a powerhead YIKES........good thing hubby is at work....LOL......

OK..If you have read up to now, I ordered an MP40....NOW to decide placement (when it gets here LOL) here are the pics of my current PH's..I also have 2 flow bars, one on each side, and you can see the one on the right side....and I have a return from my sump.....top flow in my tank is excellent
I was thinking of placing the MP40 where the Koralia is in pic 3 (right side wall of tank...about center though) and taking those 2 out at first. IDK if it will be strong enough to remove any other ones
WHAT suggestions does anyone have????

No suggestions here - but nice FTS there meowzer - beautiful tank. I am curious about these MP PH as well.

+1 here....$400.00??? And hubby has a new weapon, make sure he is in a good mood when you tell him. LOL...My late husband used to ask me how much I spent...I would tell him it was a little over a hundred...he seldom asked how much over...our marriage lasted 34 years.
