MP40 Purchase

u wont regret the mp40 besides a little noise. the flow from this thing is like 3 koralias combined. vortech also has very good customer service. place the mp40 on one side of the tank about 10-12 inches from the top. at night, just put it to nightmode to lessen the sound if it bothers you. one thing i learned the hard way in this hobby is go with the best to begin with, and save money down the road. i have 3 koralias and 1 tunze sitting in the storage room, along with countless skimmers.

LOL...YES, I also have quite a bit of items in closets and cabinets...
SO NYCBOB.....looking at my pictures....I was going to place it on the left of the tank (pic 3) close to where the Koralia on the left wall is....more centered though....and I was going to remove those 2 Koralias on the left.....Do you think I can take out any others???

I think your placement there will be good. You will probably be able to remove one more, it depends how high you set the flow. I have one on each side of my 155 and run them in reef crest mode at 70%.
Mine aren't that noisy, but I guess that's a personal preference. If it's making a lot of noise, it's not set up properly.
You're going to love it!

You're gonna love it. All the different modes to play with. I do think you will be able to remove two of the current power heads. You won't believe the power they have.
