Also can anyone tell me what type of clowns these are ? the lfs said they are true percs. But all the pics of true percs i see have alot of black between the strips. I dont see any black on these at all.

I am not totally sure, but I think the black developes as they mature and get older.

Yea sorry to hear about that. Never heard of such a thing before with nanos. Hopefully that wont happen again and your corals and fish will survive. Might I recommend you put them in a friend's tank for the time being?

They look like true percs to me.. coloration varies however its a common trait that true percs have more black between the white stripes even morphing almost entirely consuming all of the orange on the fishes body. However other variations have been know to look as yours do. I look at the eyes so far I havent been lead astray. The color outside the pupil, if its bright orange IME they are true percs. If its a tea colored darker orange then false perc or ocellaris. Again this is only MO and what I have noticed that works for me.
As far as feeding, I use the 2 minute rule. Feed only what your fish will consume inside of 2 minutes. Turn off your power heads and pumps for that time to ensure that what you are giving them gets eatin. Over feeding is the number 1 cause IMO for issues with tanks. Even when you dont think you are you probably are..

Ok so i know it looks totally different but i had to put some of my other rocks in the 10 gallon long tank because they were kinda having a bad smell to them so i thought i will let them sit in there for a week or so. They seem to be doing fine though. But here is an updated picture with all my livestock and everything in the tank seems to be doing great. my clowns appear to have paired up. Last night they were seperated and the smaller swims on its side at the top of water. Dont know if thats usual or not. They eat fine and appear very healthy though so maybe they just kinda slow or something. Also i have a question. I seen a zoanthid rock last night of some BRIGHT BRIGHT Pink Zoanthids and they have the price as $45 but it appeared to be at least 50 of em on there. Is that a good price ? Thanks ! And also would it be ok to put them in my tank since i just got my tank back running ? Will i experience a cycle or not ? I added the same livesand i had in my tank which was 2 months running and about 6 gallons of water i saved. And i installed the same sponges from other aquapod that broke. Thanks !

oK Well its cool if no one wants to make comments on my tank but here are some new photos anyways. Hope someone likes it or thanks it looks ok !

Hey Blazin...
Ur Aquapod is coming along just fine and I am VERY interested since it is the system I am considering purchasing. The best advice I have seen on this blog is PATIENCE! As much as we want to have a 'populated' aquarium it has to proceed at it's own pace... Sorry to lecture. How's the water quality? Everyone happy, eating and doing well?

Well i've had mine running for about 3 months going on 4 now
The bottom of the glass busted on my first one and the lfs gave me a new one. Ever since then about 3 weeks ago everything has been fine. Everything seems to be eating just fine. Just today i have noticed my Orchid Dottyback rubbing his side along the back plastic part. I even noticed him shed off some scales. I dont know if this is bad or what. I have noticed him do this when i feed the fish but he just grabs some food then he goes and rubs his side on the plastic of the tank. I dont know if its a form of agression towards the clowns or what But i am starting to get worried. I placed a yashia goby in the tank earlier today and havent seen him since except poke his head out from under a rock and as quick as i seen him he was gone. He found a rock and hid in the very back of the tank so i cant see him at all. So that is kinda bad to have a kind of exspensive fish and not even know how he is doing but i guess that is what they do. Well thats about all. My water chemistry has been pretty much excellent.

Did you keep the one with the busted glass? I had one shipped in that the bottom broke on because the powerhead fell down during shipping....They sent me a new one. I took the old one removed the bottom frame and the broken pan and had my glass store make a replacement...a little clear silicon for the glass and some black silicon for the frame and now I have two...It's impossible to tell which one was broken.

Well here is a pic of my new Yashia Goby. He is so cool and really active compared to most people saying they are shy and dont come out into sight. Well these pictures were taken at night. So maybe its a fish that only comes out at night ? I dont really know. But he is eating everytime i put the baster near him to feed the fish. Does anyone know if they eat other things as well ? Cause i seen mine biting at a bristle worm last night when i was feeding him, i guess it got too close or something but he kept biting at it.

Ok so here are some new photos of the tank. Can someone give me any advice on how to get rid of this green algae ? I have got it everywhere :( Help!!! Also check out the yashia goby and orchid dottyback. They just seem to love each other and always hanging out in the same cave. Is this strange or not ? Anyone like it ?

Well i'ma keep updated on my fish but i guess not many people ever give a response to how everything looks. I have a question about a Koralia Nano. Where is the best place to put it in my aquapod ? Does anyone know what would be a good spot ? I am having serious algae problems on my sand and i wish to get it looking better. Thanks if someone can help. Hope someone likes the new photos

Has the urchin messed with anything. I got rid of mine for unacceptable reef behavior a few years ago. Add more rock if you can. Looks good though!
