One of the LFS around my area is closing too. It opened in the end of last year and will be closing at the end of this month.

One of the ones by my house is taking order now and you have to put 1/2 down and pick it up with in 24 hr or lose your deposit.I told them they are crazy.I would never buy a fish that just got into the store.They will be gone soon that why I never buy from that store.I only buy something from them when I run out and didn't realize it.The ones that are good around here are managing threw the rough times.

Wow. DFW is pretty saturated with LFS's, and they're all doing pretty well. Frank just bought a Hummer about a year ago and he's preparing to build his own place to move out of his lease, and he's giving me some of his maintenance accounts because he's over-booked with them.

We have lost 2 or so in the last 3 months here.. There is also talk of another closing.. So there will be only 1 and a half left.. Kinda sucks like going from store to store to see what they have..

Which one is Franks? I'm not a big fan of the lfs's in fort worth. My favorite minus the shark chopped its store in half.

I have lately been making the trek to Columbus, what I want (inverts) is never in stock here and hasn't been stocked for what seems like 2 months. The fuel cost is cheaper than the shipping

OMG I live right by there. I just bought the 120 gal frag tank with the beat up tang in it. Also bought the lights on hat tank. Im buying everything I can from there. lol. Jon is so awesome. Im going to miss that store so much. After they close I recommend going to Two Turtles in Akron if you havent been there.
