thats cool...i really want a few more tats but it is all depending on my wife...she cried when i got my koi tat...lol...she said that i ruined my body and that the tat was ugly...but since i got all the color in it, she "almost" likes it...she says that she is getting used to it...so only time will tell to see if i get any more...
well I had that problem a while ago but not anymore I am single and its all up to me and they can accept me how I come or not :)... and plus I have a lovely lady I am interested in now and she digs them so far, just as long as I dont go crazy lol.

Awesome. You know, when people ask me how many hours I've been under the needle, I can't even say...I'm usually half asleep when I'm getting tattooed! After the initial 'ouch' period, I get all sleepy. I even bring one of those u-shaped travel pillows with me.
Mimzy, I love your flyin' cupcake. It's adorable.
I guess I'll share some other tattoos I have, too:

The Mario mushroom is my version of a 'mom' tribute. :p (BTW, that black hair on my foot is NOT attached! It's from my cat, I swear!)

jtrzerocool, that's a really interesting take on a koi. Most people go for the classic Japanese style. I applaud you.

Thank you...i wanted to have something that no one else has...originally i was going to go with the traditional kio...and then i saw this design and fell in love with it...
another reason that it looks different is because it is in transformation into a dragon...hence some of the dragon features on the koi...

AWESOME!!!! totally jealous. hey, here's a question - do any of you go through a period of INTENSE BURNING after your tattoo sessions (sorry, the question mark on my keyboard isnt working) I mean really really intense, like so incredibly painful that its many times worse than the pain from the actual tattoo itself ~ ive had 2 long tat sessions so far, and each time i ended up having to take some of the painkillers left over from my shoulder surgery just so i could try to sleep off the pain. i have NO idea what could cause this, but I DO know that it stops completely once i'm able to remove the saran wrap. no idea why this happens, just wondering if anyone else has the same experience

Nope, no burning. The tattoo stops hurting almost immediately (it's only painful when I put A&D ointment on it, for the first few days), but my muscles feel really sore in that area, like I just worked out for hours.

Can't wait!
I probably won't be getting anything done until late this fall...you know, when my student loan money comes in. :p Nah, just kidding...I'd feel slightly guilty if I did that. I'll have saved up cash by then.
