My neighbor's wife is getting on him about the cost...

of his hobbies. Between his reef tanks and his love of other pets she's really becoming quite annoying.
Any suggestions for fish, eels, or inverts, to dispose of her remains if she persists in this behavior?

Honestly if its getting to where he can't afford his needs he's got a problem. Joke all you want but what's more important, pets or wife?
Hobby is spendy no doubt.

LOL...if my husband ever made that comment to me...he'd live alone....
I buy fish and equip, my husband hunts....we SHARE the funding of eachothers hobbies and interests. And we both know our limitations.
BTW are you married??? LOL

IF they can't afford to pay their bills and eat - they should get rid of some things. Everything in moderation.

happy devorced ! oh i know im going to catch it for saying that. lol your all kinda blowing it out of context everything has its limets its all a give and take. but what i am saying is its not a bad hobby if i was given an ultomatom from my wife her knowing what i am what i do and what it consist i then she is equaly at falt she knew what she was getting into and then try and change me, no way. nobody who has ever changed them selves to meet another persons standeres is ever happy. ( saltwater tank) is not that bad of a hobby. to me a woman is like a bus a new one will come along every few mins depending upon traffic. if she cant deal somebody ealse will. but i am speaking for myself.
damn i sound like an ass

yea they are easy to buy but she dosent want the guy to have them.
let make is simple if i drink beer and she drinks wine coolers. if she said your not allowed to drink beer any more all u can have is wine coolers what would be your reaction? you can change but will u be happy? or could u kick to the curb and find a girl that A: likes beer or B: dont care
any who i got to go date night.
i like the 10,000 hermit crab idea i would start there

This can be switched around too! It drives my husband crazy the cost of fish and coral! But I really enjoy it, along with our cats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and other various critters, of which he has NO interest!! We spend a small fortune in tank and animal stuff! I generally put work bonus's and work extra hours on weekends to purchase things for my tank, then our bank account doesnt feel the pinch as much! I would guess that there is most likely other stressers and relationship problems here other than this guys tank, but we will save that for Dr.Phil or Jerry Springer!

yeah, my husband doesnt much like how much time/money goes into my tank, but i dont quite like how much time/money goes into his motorcycle and hunting. He takes 3-7 days off to go hunting (leaving me at home with a child) i never take a week off to go swimming in my tank???

Save up for a 240g tank and then go swimming with your tangs! Dont answer him for the next 3-7 days as you towel off between dives and make yourself some drinks.
Where in WA do you live? I was in Seattle from 2002-2007.

across the sound on the kitsap peninsula. And yes we are going to do a larger tank, between 350 and 500g when we build in 2-4 years.
but first, scuba in Hawaii, Mexico and hopefully Fiji Or possibly GUAM (not nearly as fun, but id get to scuba for 2 years and not work?? sound like a nice tradeoff

My husband and I both know the tanks are a money pit - but not one that's causing us to go hungry or be unable to pay bills, if it came to that they would go. (And I would be really, really sad!)
Back to the original question tho:
Pigs
Pigs'll take care of a body for you nicely. They won't fit in your reef tank but are dirt cheap ;)
My ex husband always hated my tanks....and my pigs.

just kidding!!
