Let me call the owner and see what I can do.
You just need a tank right. NO stand or anything else for the $6K he gave you.

Wow! That would be fantastic! I just got a new quote based on a slightly different size that will fit better into my wall. 72x35x39 and an outside Pre-filter on the right side of the tank. The quote was $5281.62 for the tank and $355 for the pre-filter. All corners are covered so I don't need the edges rounded or anything. The tank is 1.25" thick.
Thanks for your help!!!!

The owner is in TURKEY building a 6 million tank right now. So once he gets back then I can get a answer for you.

I don't know which is more crazy - if 6 million = dollars or gallons - either is insane - and I hope he takes pics. Wow.

Thanks for your help! I will probably have to order this week as they need it to build out the walls around it in my new home. Did you really get a 1000 gal tank for $6000?? That seems Really low based on all the quotes I have been getting.

I can't believe you guys are paying so much money for these tanks...you're getting ripped off. Why on earth would you pay $5000+, for a 425gal tank, saltFishFreak...that's an absolute rediculous price. I could put together a 425gal tank, COMPLETE, for that price.
Shop around! You'll find a lot more reputable companies that'll do as good of a job, if not better, for A LOT less.

yeah, seems weird to me to have one getting a 1000 gal for $6000, and then the same company building a 425 gal for $5281.62.

Maybe I'm shopping in the wrong places. I have gotten a quote from multiple companies and they are all around this price. I have gotten some much lower prices but that was using 3/4" instead of 1.25" which changed the price drastically.
Please give me some other companies I can get a quote from. THANKS!

I think it is too quick to judge. While on the surface it doesn't seem fair, we don't know EXACTLY what is included in the two prices...from design and construction of the tank to installation. Are both of these basic rectangular tanks with nothing else included? Both in the same city and made there?
What is the list of what you have requested?

No install or anything else? If there is nothing else, and this is a basic rectangular tank (no curves or anything) then I would have to agree that the price seems a bit much but perhaps it is the thick acrylic.

I also didn't see where it was 1.25" acrylic. That would certainly raise the price but I still think that's high. Check on --, in their sponsor section. They have lists of acrylic tank manufacturers.

I might be too late for this, but if you could just tell me how you got those triggers to work that would be great
The reasen I ask is because everyone I've asked before said that I couldn't put a trigger with anything unless it was a huge tank!
Thanks

Considering the tank at the new england aquarium is the biggest thing ive ever seen and its a *mere* 200,000 gallons, I believe we can conclude that this guy is building a tank that COSTS 6 million bucks. But I could be wrong.

It has been almost 2 years and nothing but love in my tank. My only problem to date was at the start I had 2 powder blues and the little one almost killed the big one. Other then that nothing.
