My shallow reef tank diary }(>')

as of right now. the purple tang has sign of ich but it comes and goes. neon goby is there always cleaning the tang. also i dont have a hospital tank so i dont know what i have to do with the 2 fish. :( is there anything i can do?

I thought Beth was a she, Watch your pH - slowly lower your salinity. I thought I had ich back after 3 weeks turned out it was lymphocytis. You said you didn't have a tank for a HT maybe just a rubbermaid tote would work for you. Also recommended was tanking a cup or two of sand for the HT to help with the cycle. No live rock or anything else i bought a bunch of 3" black abs fittings tee's and elbow for the fish to hide in. Good luck nissan.

did you use starphire glass or just regular glass?
i believe starphire is more clear than regular.
just wondering
i have starphire glass all around the tank. so trust me its worth it :)

ill be around a little bit more...maybe. i hear you on the no fish part. my flame wrasses have ich right now and im hoping they make it through. ichs already in the tank, so i hope they ride it out and survive. ill just wait for the ich to wear itself out after a year. so three fishes is all for me

theres some studies that suggest ****** can eventually wear itself out after 10-11 months reaching a point where they cant harm fishes any longer, including new additions. as long no new strain of ****** is added, many fish can develop partial immunity while the ich will continue to live in the tank. while i would love to catch them for hypo, its almost impossible without dismantleing the display
