New bulbs are in, overall im very pleased with the radium 20k color. Everything just looks so good under these bulbs, and it better after the price i just paid for them haha.
anyways here are some new shots, the overall color of the tank isnt very well demonstrated but it does look awesome!

Your tank is amazing. I wish I could have a tank like that one day. What supplements do you dose and what is your regimen with them?

dosing-wise, i do nightly additions of B-Ionic two part calc and alk. twice a week i add kent trace elements, and i feed mainly mysis, on a daily basis. i do one 10 gal water change a week and change out my carbon at the beginning of every month.

oh dont worry, with high calck/alk itll take off quicker than you'll want it to! that peice in my tank is about a year of growth and its well over a foot and multiple layers

i use an RO/DI filter to purify my tap water. and mix it for a day or 2 in a big Rubbermaid bin. i do water changes once a week.
i would say start there, get a sump going with a strong protein skimmer and carbon. I also add nightly additions of calc/alk to keep it high for my sps. also the most important ingredients, time and stability.

ive been mixing strait tap water mayb thats the problem my tanks 2yrs old started off great but slowly all corals diminished after about six mo im going 2 try the water changes weekly 2 c i that has an impact tanks 4 ur time

if you are using tap water, 2 changes a week arent going to do anything because youre still pouring impurities into your tank. tap h2o is loaded with phosphates and heavy metals. Phosphates inhibit coral growth and can be the cause of youre issue. i would invest in a nice corallife ro/di system first before wasting anymore salt.
youre not taking any of my time i love helping others, keep asking questions if you want.
i used to be like you using tap water but i learned my lesson, take it from someone that has done it before and get that ro/di system. theyre only 100-200 bucks! not too bad when u compare it to the amount of money youve lost in corals...

wow u convinced me! does that ro hook up directly 2 the sump or is it a seperate system that just filters the water

well the ro unit is a seperate unit that hooks up to your water outlet (like the water hose outlets) and you can have the ro/di dump into your sump if you chose to have it set up like that via a auto top off unit.
I personally choose to run teh ro/di unit and have it empty into 10 gal or larger bins that can hold that ro/di water until you chose to use it for mixing salt water or fresh water top offs. heres a link to an example of an ro/di system, cheaper units are available.http://www.***********.com/ps_ViewIt...s~vendor~.html
