I am finally getting a MJ1200 to updrade my return pump
New corals im so excited my Plant Earth Poly is ready

Good looking superman! I just bought an encrusting monti too, no idea what it is (orange base with green polyps). Are they like any other sps, high flow, high light?
And is intermittent flow better than constant for SPS?

sounds like you got a Sunset Monti. When i had mine it liked to be in High light and med Flow

Sweet, then I picked the perfect spot. Top of the rocks right by the return.
I've seen really good polyp extension already. This is my first run with SPS and I really enjoy their shape and colors.

I hear ya, thanks though. I went ahead and added them from the get go although I'm running sea gel and purigen (both seachem) instead of chemi-pure elite and purigen. Since I have only a small amount of rock for my cycle I'm going to ghost feed.
