You learn fast Scott!!! Now how many more nights do you have to sleep with sweaty hands?
I got a BIG FAT ZERO in qualifying!
About 138 hours, but who is counting.....

I hate logging on not knowing qualifying has happened and just seeing another 1800 positions lost. But I did get 1 point for qualifying.

Knight, I think you got the lucky dog pass and made up one of your laps this week.

Spidey, I noticed on thing about that site, it takes them couple hours to get the points right. The post the points, then later they post the CORRECT points. For instance you got 216 this week.

Anybody hear of what happened with the Joe Gibbs cars for the Nationwide Series? Supposedly the #18 and #20 had magnets on the gas pedal, when NASCAR was dyno'ing the cars? Just caught the tale end of a report and that's all I heard.

Supposedly, the Toyotas were already under a restriction to tone back the horsepower to keep them equal with everyone else. Someone at JGR decided to try to get around that rule, keeping the HP, but used magnets to conceal the fact. I don't know exactly what the magnets do, but somehow they were supposed to fool the inspectors. JG claims to have had no knowledge of this, but does take full responsibility on the bad judgement error that one of his employees made.

The magnets acted as a spacer between the gas petal and the floor so they wouldn't go full open keeping them a bit slower... Friggen smart guy who noticed that...

D, well I have had a hard time trying to mention your stellar performance this week.
Halkf the points of last week....... OUCH!

They were putting some cars on the dyno after the race. THey have already said that Toyota has an edge in HP. Well someone at JGR put magnets on the bottom of the gas pedals after the race and before the dyno test so the throttles could not be wide open.
The penalties are going to be HARSH!!! NASCAR does not like people trying to deliberately mess with them like that.

This weeks race is going to be FUN! I loved going to Bristol and be deaf for a few days after :)
I do hope you're wearing ear protection... I can only imagine how loud that place is as a bowl instead of being open like other tracks.

JT, it is worse than I thought, it is only 23 points, you got me so nervous I did the math wrong. Yikes! Well let's hope that my favorite driver AJ pulls out his first win this week.
