Lame, this wet racing. If I wanted to watch cars take a corner at 30 mph I'd go to the corner at my apartments. I really hope nascar sees that too and decides this was a bad good idea.

Well so much for Denny being a shoe-in.
Tough week, 271 points and still dropped like a rock.

I sure wish Mark had not had the problem in the pits. He might have pulled that one out.

'Nother week, 'nother 7,000 or so passed in the ranks. Urgh, the first part of the season.... We start fresh for the chase too, right?

Yea, it was a good race. Felt quick minus the 40min red flag. Hope Bobby is okay? (went to the hospital after the wreck)

Good race (for a road course), and a good week for points, eh guys?

So here is my story. I walk in about 30 laps left, I have 2,3,12 and 14. Go work out in the yard, come back in and I have 2,3,12 and 28. Oh well Bobby had a problem, still a good day. Hey look at that car spin, it is Ryan Newman who was running 3rd. Look at all those cars go around Ryan while he sits there.
(BTW the filed got the good hands award for missing him while he just sat there
) Go out and finish up working on the yard. Come in and see the replay of the wreck that involved two of my cars. Bobby looked hurt, but Ryan was OK, he just does not know how to put in the clutch and brake at the same time I guess.

Later log onto yahoo knowing that I am going I am going to be looking up at JT. Thankfully he had an even worse day than me (Sorry JT)

I wonder how many gallons of gasoline are wasted on driving cars in circles at excessive speeds for hours at a time.

It was a road course, they did not drive in circles. As far as gas usage I would say that the tens of thousands of cars that drove to the race used more than the 43 cars that actually raced.

Not enough.
Most racing series are held to just the weekend. Would be awesome if there was something mid-week. Like an American Le Mans race, or something Wednesday night too.
