Remember Spidey, have a handicam or something on hand. If Scott squeals like a little school girl meeting AJ, we want to know about it...

I'm so envious... hubby gets to meet Scott and I won't. I'm stuck here in NC hehehe.
Red Bull did a great job getting Scott a package with all info in it and he has a HOT pass that is very hard to get and usually reserved for family members or top sponsor guests. He gets to be at the pits and all.
PS I CAN imagine Scott screaming like a little girl when he meets drivers

So who is to say that I have not already squealed like a little girl.
I mean imagine someone handing you a true-dream-once-in-a-lifetime deal and then telling you that you can go TOMORROW, no waiting around, just get your lucky butt in the car and go to the track........

Spidey,

I know this sounds silly, but it actually makes me feel really good to be able to give a gift like that to someone I've never met in person but have exchanged numerous emails with.
Most of you probably don't know, but Scott trusted Dwight (T316) and I to take over his livestock and corals when he broke down his tank. Scott is in California and Dwight and I are in NC... he shipped his lifestock all the way across the country. Unfortunately most fish died in transit, clown pair that I got got infected with Brookynella, and the only live fish (yellow tang) is happy in a show tank at a LFS near Dwight.
So, as long as Scott is happy and has a great time at the races, that's all I need to make me happy :)

What...

What...

Scott, you dog....I thought it was just a in-field pass. What a deal man. I'm still waiting on a couple hats. Spidey must have said something to my 11 yr. old when we met, because he has asked me 20 times when his AJ hat (or something is coming in)....and you get to meet the man.

Heh Hemmmm, I prefer to think that SOME of the fish died. At least in transit. However, yes in the long run the mortality rate was not good.

Dwight, I did not have any idea what type of pass I would get, even if I would get a pass. So I was figuring I would go to the track, buy a pit pass and hopefully get to meet Mr. Spidey and get a tour of his rig, hopefully. Then check my e-mail today and BAM I get the golden ticket!!!!!!!!!!
Hey if it will make you feel better I will take a picture of an AJ hat for you and e-mail it to you.

That reminds me I have to charge the camera, you know, for tomorrow when I am in the PITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the heck am I going to sleep tonight?

You better be careful in the traffic tomorrow morning. No use getting a speeding ticket

Last time the Credentials office was on the left side of the track coming through the gate to the race way. Those buildings are portable singlewides so don't be surprised.
PS Hubby likes Pepsi <hint> <hint>

I know she is going to be sitting there absolutely bored and that this is probably the only race she will go to. But I knwo she will enjoy the spectacle that it is, seeing the souviner trailers, all the people, especially how they are all dressed. I mean come on talk about everyone wearing loud shirts.

BTW I am so excited about today that I have no idea if I am making sense or not.

Dang, now I'm jealous!
Cons of being at the garage area... hehehe
- can't see the practise/qualifying/race the same way you can from TV
- don't have your own fridge to walk to during the weekend
- can't hear anything for a while
- finding parking is a pain
- everything at the concession stands costs twice as much as outside the track... soda can be $10
I'm sure I can find more negatives in a minute

You also do not have a "home base" Some place you can drop your stuff and take a breather.
Parking, OMG I walked so much today, it was hot and I was in jeans, you know cause I was IN THE PITS!!!!! I guess I should have stayed since AJ qualified second.
I got the big ZERO points this week.

You did NOT select AJ????? Scott!!! I'm mortified!

You can leave your bag and stuff in Jim's tractor trailer in the front, just ask him and he'll let you. No need to drag stuff around all day long :)

Can you imagine if I jinxed AJ with the SSD this week? I would feel AWFUL!

I might talk to him about that, but then i also learned what I do and do not need now.
