didn't mean to hijack your thread - on the chiller, I'd just be real careful with it. Unplug it if it acts up and if your tank starts to get too warm, plug it in and see if it'll run a while to cool the tank back down, then be prepared to unplug it again if it does the flashy red light thingy. Since it's a cool tank, might wanna keep a little rodi ice in the freezer too till the new chiller arrives.

Meowzer do you have a heater plugged in? It's highly possible the thermostat is off a bit, but there is going to be some variance as to when the chiller kicks in and out. I agree with seeing if it gets a tad warmer and firing the chiller and see if it does in deed pull the tank back down.

Did the other chiller actually crap the bed?
IDK yet....gonna get another piece of hose....and clean it out...then I will re-test it
I have spare pumps I can use...just don;t have enough hose to run the chiller with....A local appliance guy said he will look at it for me....ALTHO he has no clue what it is...HAH
BUT In order for us to test it I need the pump and hose too
