I am pretty sure 99.9% that this is a sundial
....SOOOO do I FW dip the zoas...or Lugols....HELP!!!

I am ALMOST....maybe 70% sure this is a stomatella....so I will toss it in ONLY AFTER I get an ok from my trusted SWF family

Yea it looks like the little fu--ker
Treatment: Treatment should be done in a quarantine tank. First step is to move the effected corals to a quarantine tank; the quarantine tank should have good light and water flow. Setup your quarantine tank, then take your coral out of the main tank and dip it in Coral Rx. While the coral is in CoralRx take a turkey baster, and blast the coral with the dip. Making sure it is getting in between the polyps and the underside of the coral. Do this for approximately 5 - 10 minutes. After 5 - 10 minutes, remove coral and discard the coral dip. Do not reuse the coral dip as parasites may release toxins. Rinse coral with clean saltwater and return to quarantine tank. Repeat every 4-8 days till no more snails are found. Leave the coral in your quarantine system for an additional 3 months before moving back to your aquarium.
I know the treatment sucks but you dont want them multiplying in your tank.you can and i hate to say this just trash the zoos

What about the other...is it a stomatella? should I toss it in the tank
OK...I have Lugols, and I have Seachem Coral Dip (disinfectant)
You don't think I can dip it in either of those and be okay?????
I have a 10G with LOTS of Kenya tree, 2 gobys, snails, and a monkey shrimp.......can I put them in there as a qt??????

OK I called the place I got them from.....they said to do a vigorous FW dip....shake them, and pick off anything I see
I went ahead and did that, did not see anything else.....I put them in the 10G though......I will watch them closely for the next week...and go from there

I had the same issue not too long ago with a colony of polyps I bought. I only ever found two, but I fresh water dipped them every day, twice a day for two weeks and haven't spotted another one. I would complain to the company until they give you a small refund or some free stuff though

Yes.
I plucked the two off (saw them right away) and fresh water dipped twice a day about 12hrs apart from each other. I wanted to make sure there were no eggs.
I wasn't sure whether or not Lugol's would kill them or kill my polyps. I've read mixed reviews on whether or not Lugol's is good for softies.

Mine were really easy to spot and I actually saw them during the day. The do blend in well with the rock!
I was scared that there might be eggs once I found two on the same colony, so I probably went a little over board with the FW dip, but I wasn't taking a chance.

Doubtful on the Tunicate, most die off in our tanks anyway. You will be subjecting it to the air and they react to this the same as a sponge.

HMMMMM....Maybe I shouldn;t call it a dip.....I just put FW in a container...and vigorously swished the colony around ....looked for anything...and put them in the tank
