need some help

i am new to the world of corals and i did something stupid. I was in my lfs yesterday and i bought a green hammer coral, but i dont know anything about how to take care of corals. I bought phyto-planktin but i dont know how much to feed it or how often. Can somebody help with some info?

That's a very nice one.....you don't really have to do anything special at all...they need good light...and good water....Sometimes I place a small piece of scallop on mine, or a tiny piece of shrimp....you can also place a piece of mysis (if you can reach it..LOL)

I would also like to note that most corals cannot eat Phytoplankton. Hammer is in the group that cannot. It requires small chunks of meaty seafood like Mysis Shrimp, minced Scallops, etc.
