Google Dr. Randy Holmes-Farley. The best chemistry guy in the hobby I know of. He's the real deal.
It would be nice if we could link to his articles.
Just yesterday I had to tell someone what phrase to google in order to find the article I was referring to. Can you recruit him for us so we can link to his stuff right here on SWF?
While you're at it, can you get that Fenner guy, too?

Yup it would be nice not to have to go elsewhere for Holmes-Farley, Fenner, Calfo, Borneman. But alas it is what it is. I think it fits right in with Joe's post though. If we could more easily point to these folks on other sites, it would be easier to help thers become more knowledgeable.

Yup. You were on your way to becoming my hero!

ummm Henry to much info I would ride on your shoulders
And look out on the world
Pretending I was big and tall like you
When you were there to hold me
I never was afraid
You made me feel there's nothing I can't do
If I'd spread my wings to fly
When I was very small
I knew that you'd be standing by
To catch me if I fall
You're my hero
Chasing the monsters from my room
Going on trips around the moon
The one who's always been there faithfully
You're my hero
And 'cause you're my Dad...
I'm twice as blessed and lucky to be me
As I kept on growing
We often disagreed
But you let me find myself in my own way
And it's funny, how just lately
I've come to recognize
How wise you are becoming every day
There's so much you've given me
I hope I've made you proud
You're everything a Dad should be
And it's time to tell you now
You're my hero
You didn't have to say a word
Your love was the message that I heard
Inspiring me to be all I can be
You're my hero
And 'cause you're my Dad...
I'm twice as blessed and lucky to be me

Renee, post up the name of the chemistry book you referenced again please. Was it a Brightwell book?

I sent someone to one of Anthony Calfo's articles just a couple days ago, too.
We should set up a list of who to google.

Oh, I think you just did. Add Ronald Shimek, too.

Well, to play devils advocate:
I probably wouldnt have come back to this site if it hadnt been for flower, meozer, SCCI (or however those leters go), spanko, cranberry, bang guy and a bunch of others that helped me with my easy questions to help me get started.
I would have to agree that when you give someone sound advice and they dont want to hear it, so they keep searching through more threads for something that is more like what they wanted to hear. Really gets annoying, but I dont guess that's gonna stop.
BTW, thank you all for being so helpful for the last 4 months

i would like to say thanks to all those that has answered my questions n i'm sure i've asked them more than twice, but i've gone out bought some books so i know what i'm doing , it's easier to refer back to quickly. i've learned alot on this site n i think alot of people use this site as a short cut instead of reading (including me), but there seems to be some questions u guys can answer better than the books because of your experience. well thanks again everyone
