Thanks everyone I appreciate the comments!

Now comes the real hard part of dismanteling the old tank, got all the water and most of the sand out last night, now I'm gonna have to cut the bulkheads off today and try to get the beast outside to wash it out and store it. Old tank is a 5'x3'x20" 3/4" acrylic so heavy as all get out. Then I need to finish the new tank stand and canopy so my wife will stop bugging me.

The new tank is in our veterinary clinic in our lobby and people are loving it, especially kids.

Thanks, the tank is coming along nicely already seeing some growth on the rock background and the sand be is starting to activate.
I made an order yesterday:
1 Naso tang
1 yellow tang
50 turbos
1 bag rotifers
2 bag copepeds
coral banded shrimp
and a pink tip haititan anemoone (got it free)

Sorry for the huge bump but I enjoyed this thread so much. Your homemade stand and hood are beautiful! Fantastic job! I love the DIY concrete background. Very cool idea I have never seen before.
Very nice inspiration as I am upgrading my tanks soon.
