$250.00!?!?!?! Hell no! Not for that much money. If it where cheaper ,much cheaper i would consider it because of the easier,quicker factor, but thats almost criminal.
Ill be making for the most part,the plumbing part,the identical thing. Only difference will be the internal overflow and no external box.

Got a little bit more done this weekend. Im out of town again so I can work on it again until next weekend.I hope to have the canopy built and all the finish trim done on both the stand and canopy.Maybe even get started on the doors.

That looks great man! I am debating whether to build my stand out of wood or have a steel frame made. I really like the idea of a steel stand but I'm having difficulty trying to find someone to make it. Your stand looks really nice. I wish I had carpentry skills...

Thanks! I cant believe you can not find someone to build you a stand it Pittsburgh. Thats friggin insane.

I know: "steel city"...HA. I think the problem is that the steel fabricators I found and contacted are too busy with much MUCH larger projects to bother with a tiny little aquarium stand. I figured out my plans anyways, so no big deal.

Yes sir.... 2- 250w, I may use some blue LEDs as well. Im still thinking about my lighting scheme.

I had to make a call on using money for Apex Controller or LEDs and im not compleatly sold on LEDs yet.

I was a little skeptical when I switched from MH to LED but now that I'm seeing results I'm convinced, lol.

I see some really big pros to LEDs and I'm sure at some point in the very near future I'm going to give them a shot. It was a toss up between the Apex and lights and I already had lights so......
