If your drilling is a success, let us know how you did it. I'm thinking of drilling mine for the return line.

This is my second time drilling a tank Silverado61, my 125 was a breeze and I expect the same on this one. Im drilling 5 holes in this 120.
3~ 1" and 2~ 1-1/2". Its really pretty easy.

If you make yourself a jig with some 1/4" plywood and clamp it or tape it down you dont have to worry about the bit walking on you. I didnt bother building a putty dam around the hole instead I just let the hose run on top of the tank. Dont push the bit through the glass ,let the bit do the work. And last but not least... put a towel down so the drop out dosent hit the other side and break the tank.

Drilling tanks isn't nearly as bad as it seems. It's nerve-wracking for sure, but if you take your time and follow the suggestions VVV gave you, you will be fine.

Very nice! Are those doors going to be lift-out or hinged?

They are hinged. I have some really cheap ones at the moment because I couldn't find any 14 "overlay hinge.
If you make up to my area you can hang the doors on my stand for me. I have no clue or talent on hanging cabinet doors. lmao

Got tank drilled for Bean Animal overflow and the suction for the closed loop.

Is the full weight of the hood sitting on the glass? It looks heavy if so. Are you going to mount the hood to the wall? Makes me thing stress cracks along the seals otherwise.
