From the pic it shows a 5gal bucket in the back, so I would say that those tanks connnected are NO more then 25gallons if that.

That's much larger than a 5 gallon bucket...
Anyways, picture the tank so that both hexagons are touching each other..it definetly resembles a 55 gallon, just in a strange shape. I'd say its a 55, or a 50 gallon anyway.

that's why I called it east MEETS west

hahahaha, itsbigger than a 25...i believe i can tell at least somewhat gallon size...those are buckets stacked in each other as well as the way the pic is taken....anyways...i like the idea of having items from different places...wonder how hard it would be to find specific things like that, not very i assume?

well ok here are the outer dimensions as in the picture....
i came up with this from waht squidd showed in mimzy's old thread:
15.875X18.25X20=5794.375/231=25.08X2=50.16gallons

how cool is that... very interesting.. The only problem I can thing of is once the algea like coraline n stuff starts growing it will be a bit of a pain in the wrasse to keep the tubes see through.

wow that tank is really going to stand out in a good way. I would really like to see how your going to build the rock work in that tank. It would be cool if you made the rock work look like one giant wall and then had the rocks built around the tubes to turn them into tunels. Then if you got like a snow flake eel or some shrimp or whatever that would dwell in a cave you would have full view of them at all time.

Lots of things...it depends on what kind of tank you want. What kinds of fish would you like for this tank? Maybe we can help you narrow it down.

yes, maybe you could..but im not sure what i want...i do believe they will hold corals within, so thats one factor

I wouldn't get anything larger than a dwarf angel, for one...swimming space, and two, you want the stuff to be able to swim between the two tanks. Since this is a 50 gallon, I'd do:
1 fairy wrasse (you pick)
2 bartlett anthias
1 dwarf angel(you pick)
2 percula clowns
2 neon gobies
1 orange-spotted goby

IMO...if you keep up on water changes, it isn't overstocked. None of those fish get real large, and again, IMO..that is an east meets west type of tank.
You figure the fairy wrasse is pacific, the clowns are pacific, the neon gobies are carribean, the dwarf angel (if u want a reef..i recommend a cherub) is from the carribean, the anthias are pacific, the orange spotted goby is pacific, etc.
