Mine was fairly large when I first got it. Around a foot across with full tentacle extension... Growth (at least in my experiences ) with good feedings is fairly quick . Mine almost doubled in size within the first six months...I knew the pitfalls but was lucky with mine. He never showed the body puffiness that most do after having them a while.........
I just could not pass up the offer when I got rid of him. Also he was crowding other corals etc out..Almost like he wanted a dedicated tank area..... Good Luck if you give one a try!.......
