Yep, gotta love the eel grass!!
Yesterday afternoon, while the kids played, we spent over two hours discussing the next step in her tank. I was ready to head back to the fish store, fortunately, Beth has better restraint than I do. We focused on these items...
~upgrade lighting
~upgrade filter
~tigger pods
~fish
~more LR
~snails
~corals
We made some more critter discoveries that really changed the shopping list. We found two little feather duster worm attached to the plants. The afternoon sun revealed that her tank was crawling with pods!!!! On a small LR it looks like there is a tiny bunch of star polyps, too tiny to tell for sure. And we also found three tiny star polyps on the decorator crab.
After the new finds the list got cut down to:
~upgrade lighting
~upgrade filter
and let the tank mature for the next month.

Thats cool. Getting any shrimp? Coral Banded Shrimp has ot be the coolest shrimp ever. She would probably like an anemone carrying hermit...just trying to think of cool things that are fun to watch

that crab is pretty neat. did she buy it or did it come with LR?

She bought the crab separately. That's exactly what Beth was looking. Something really different and fun to watch. An anemone crab would be awesome, but I'm not certain the anemone could survive in the 29g with out some serious light changing.

The two anemone's on my old crab lived with flourescent lighting in my 10 gallon. I didn't know much about saltwater back then, and of course PetSmart didn't know that it probably would have been happier in a bigger better tank. But my anemones lived in that tank even after he died. Thye just moved from his shell to various spots and they even lived when i transfered to the 18 gallon. There not sitll alive due to other reasons i'd rather not talk about though...
I'm not sure if anemone carrying hermits always have the same type of anemone or not.

I dont think this beth person exists
I have been following this thread since day one. I think Rynka has gone delusional and has to make up this fictional Neighbor character to rationalize starting another tank.

I think beth is the voice in her head.

BTW those hermit anemones do not need light to survive they are strictly filter feeders.

Thats what i thought...i used to feed them goldfish food pellets every once in a while whne they were in my 10g. They loved them. But they sometimes had trouble eating them (they were small anemones). The anemones, i must say, were as fun to have as the crab.

Beth is at it again. She called asking about filters and said she was going shopping for a larger one. I'm going over to her house tomorrow and try to figure out what happened with her account. I'm betting that her account hasn't opened because she hasn't responded to the email from SWF.

Found the problem, she hadn't responded to the email. Now if I can just get her out of the LFS long enough to post on here!!!!
