Ok, first the video is way too short! He's beautiful. I love him. I can understand why you were sitting on the floor in the basement..I'd never come out, again.
SO cool. congrats :joy:

Sorry...completely forgot about this thread.
Bimacs will reach a mantle (head) size of aprox. 7". Keep in mind that's only the head...you're gonna have probably 24" from arm tip to arm tip, if not more.
Dont know if you've already stated what size tank he's going into, but you're eventually going to have at least a 55gal. tank for him.

I originally was going to put him in an empty 55 I hadn't been using. The tank wouldn't do him justise or probably keep him in the tank, so I am having a custom tank built specifically for him. The new tank is 200 gallons and will be delivered next week. He should have plenty of room to grow and move around.

Here's another picture of the stand. It needed to be made in 2 sections to fit through the door. Dimensions of the tank are 48X36X28, which should be right around 200 gal. The rock and sand will be coming from another tank already setup so it shouldn't be too long after it is setup that I will be able to move him into his new home. Not in a big hurry as he seems to like where he is at.

Who knows...everyone said that you can't keep fish in the same tank with an Octopus, but here it is, nearly 2 weeks and he hasn't gotten the damsels

LOL, you don't think he is going to pull you in the tank with him, do you?
These are great pictures. FYI, I got live goldfish and put them in the tank. He will chase and catch them. Fun to watch. Although I didn't do it with all the plants you have. Do it when you put him in his other tank.
