Thanks.....I have never had an algae sheet go untouched...so I wasn't sure about that....I'll leave it be then

The dwarfs and tangs attack it like they are starving in the 225G

My angel and blenny are the ones that pick at the algae sheets. Whatever does not get eaten by them, well the snails and mini brittle stars attack the rest.

You might have to tie it to a rock with a rubberband and drop it in the tank to make it more "natural".

Has your lemonpeel showed any interest in the algae sheets? My lemonpeel has decided to start nibbling on an algae sheet, but there is no algae in the QT. I'll post pics of her when I put her in the main tank.

YAYYYYYYYYY....The Lemonpeel just nibbled off the clip.....too bad it only had a teeny piece left on it (the rest started to fall apart so I put it in the 225G)

BUT this is good news.....yayyyyyy.....I may put another small piece later.....I don't want to push it

YAY!

If it's going after a small piece, it may just be afraid of the larger pieces moving in the flow of the tank. Try a small piece again later.

Awesome!!!! Mine eats coral
. Oh well, I knew the risk so I am just going to move the corals. She devours algae sheets, and I feed plenty of food just her.

OUCH...sorry to hear that....so far I have not noticed anything missing.....I thought she was nibbling at the kenya tree, but I'm not sure if it was that or a piece of algae

I have so much freakin kenya I really would not care if she ate it..LOL...except then she might be tempted to taste the pretty mushrooms or zoas...

is it eating a specific coral...or all of them?

There should be some corals she won't nip, like zoa..just keep an eye on which ones she bothers and move those...sorry to hear you got a little nipper.
