ya thats correct nike, i would have to introduce them simultaneously...ill prob get another red....those are the expensive firefish huh nike the ones ur talking about....sure are pretty though!
edit: my old lady seems to think they are hiding under the gravel.....but idk, she says she saw one earlier hiding under some rubble LR in the gravel!

I told you they burrow......until they get use to the tank you will not see them very much.....then mostly when you are not looking LOL
seriously....they will come out to eat, but sudden movements will make then dart back into their burrows...just sit back and watch....no moving

you should make a top for your tank if you want to keep fishes like them. theyll almost certainly jump out.

ya ive got piece of acrylic over it....must have been a precise jump cuz theres like 3" not covered for him to jump out of .....unless he poked his head up and looked lol. The crappy aclyric bends though and sags in the back.....should i put another piece there to hold it up or something???? Or eggcrate or something im open to ideas...ive got a sheet of acrylic in the garage!

to me, acrylic would inhibit gas exchange in the tank. im no sure how well you could do this, but this is what i have over my tank.

i see you having a problem with working around the filter
without the netting though, i wouldve lost more than just my platinum clownfish. sucks to have 200$ jump out the tank

ya im not gonna lie im not a DIYer but i could prob manage to cut some eggcrate up ! It only comes in that standard size though huh, be nice if i could get some sm squared stuff if u know wat i mean! lol
I leave openings in the back of my tanks...u dont think thats enough gas exchange for c02 and oxygen (O2?) and such nike?

i dont think its enough at all. the diy wasnt hard to do. i cut everything up with a hacksaw lol.
i know you can find some small 1/4" egg crate. but if you do this, you would need 2 par 38's to cover your tank, 1 on each side.

nike if u have link to this DIY or can explain it to me in lamins terms.....that would be great! I might get some eggcrate anyways for my 36 cuz im tired of having to clean the glass top....would be easier to just clean the light guard evey now and again!

ya i think hes eatin 2 fish already lol.....thxs for the link! I havent seen any aggression out of him though. Im sure i will when he gets bigger though....and maybe at night cuz thats when he really runs around.
