I am shocked.....BUT GLAD....LOL....I wonder what that skin thing was I pulled out the other day, hmmmmm

WOW...your fish is still alive! Awesome. Maybe the skin you found was from long ago, deep in the rocks somewhere.

LOL...I have no clue from what though....and it waslong and thin like the wrasse,.....HAHA....but IDC cause it is alive YAYYAY and it look like I got a free hitchhiker coral to boot

what color was the skin thing if your talking about cleaner wrasses the make a cocoon and stay there if they are stressed

Sorry for the loss...
As a side note... most cleaner wrasses in the aquarium usually have very short life spans because there aren't enough parasites to eat. They kind of die slowly of starvation like mandarin gobies in novices tanks. IMO, they are better left in the ocean. ... just the research that I have done...
Not saying that it is impossible to keep one either....

NO SNAKE....you did not...BUT didn't you read where I found it alive.....LOL....
I also have one in the 225G....seems very healthy to me :)

Some cleaner wrasses can be trained to eat frozen foods - but thats also rare.

LOL....the one in my 225G does eat frozen, it also eats algae sheets when I put them in there

Meowzer and I have both been lucky with our cleaner wrasses *knock on wood*
I know mine is one of my favorite fish, had him for years.

Eh - call me crazy - but if there is a chance that I may end up with one that will 51% likely chance of dying in my care because of something I can not provide to it - I don't buy it. Ya'll just lucked up! I'm jealous because I really like cleaner wrasses. :(

Had to look it up.....I have had the cleaner wrasse in the 225G since 7/2010.....so over a year now
I tink that is good....LOL...what do you think is a good length of time to consider something a success
