Had to look it up.....I have had the cleaner wrasse in the 225G since 7/2010.....so over a year now
I tink that is good....LOL...what do you think is a good length of time to consider something a success

Usually if you make it past the 6 month mark with them you're fine. We both have two things going for us with our cleaner wrasses: 1) they're in large community tanks and 2) they accept frozen.

I FOUND OUT WHAT the mystery skin was....LOL...
when I was feeding the tank today I saw a very very similar "item" in the food....LOL....I am very glad that has been solved
it is a small fish that is in the mixed bag of frozen food

Whew! I'm glad you found out what it was! And I'm more glad that you still have your wrasse!
How are all the other additions doing?

YAYYYY...it is now confirmed that my new cleaner wrasse also eats frozen and pellets.....when I feed the puffer dinner, I throw in a few pellets to get the other fish to leave me alone....well the wrasse went after them
the wrasse also ate the frozenwhen I fed this morning

WooHoo! Congrats! Do you add any vitamin supplements in your frozen food like Selcon? JW.
every once in a while I do...I have selcon, zoe, zoecon, vita-chem and gvh fish food soak made by h20...OH and garlic guard
I use to use this stuff daily and was told I did not need to....so I just put some in here and there....if I had to put a time table to it I would say for the 54G and 29G 2x a week....the 225g rarely...LOL
the 54G cause it has the puffer and his issues, the 29G cause it has the clown that was beaten up....altho fully recovered I worry about his overall health
