Spending Dough,
Just started reading your thread from the beginning this morning and I must say that your tank is gorgeous! Matter of fact this thread is the best part of my week so far. I love the wood choice for your stands and the display fuge is great. As far as new reefers go I think your going to receive the Rookie of the Year award. Congrats and I will definitely stay tuned into this thread.

Thanks for the really nice comments! It is really appreciated.

Holy crap I cant believe how long it's been since I have visited.
Tank is running splendedly....should I say everything is alive and doing quite well, and coraline is growth is off the hook.
I am going through 4gallons of water every 24 hours! I have had the plumber up to install a ro sytem and before we plumb it to the tank I am trying to figure out a major problem I have encountered. ( re enforcing a previous comment I made about "package deals". My sump is way to small! My water table in my sump fluctuates up to 4 " per day. I add a four gallon bottle of water a day! I cannot go on vacation! I cant trust someone to adjust the skimmer for me when they add new water. I am worried about auto topoff systems incase they fail and I end up with water everywhere.
I want to replace my sump but wouldnt have the foggiest how to do it without removing tank. Kinda stuck and not sure what to do.

Hi all,
Wanted to post some updated pics for you. All is well and I am in the process of having a Ro system installed. Seahorses are doing great and I have only lost a few heads of my candycane coral since we upgraded.

man if i were you.... all this money your spending on this tank to make sure all the parameters are correct and in line i would put some high end SPS all over that tank!! and a phosban reactor with some ROWAphos will get rid of/control your cyno problem... good lookin tank tho bro!

oh and where are you getting your live stock from?
I get most of my livestock from a LFS, we tried a supplier out of Vancouver a couple of times (JL Aquatics for us West Coast Canadians) and they were really good. Healthy, large stock. Prices were a little steep though cause they fly it in to Kelowna here.
We have really slowed things down to let everything get established and havent added anything in a while but i'm gettin the itch again! I havent had any problems at all with cyano or any other kind of problem algae. We were over feeding for a while and had our lights on too long. Everything has been running great!
High end SPS hey?
