It looks like aiptasia, it's an undesireable anemone. There are fish that will eat them(Copperbanded butterfly fish) .True pepermint shrimp will also eat them. I've also heard hermits will eat them but have not seen it myself. Nudibranchs will also eradicate aiptasia.

looks like aiptasia to me as well. best to nip it in the bud as soon as possible, because it is a relentless force.

Copperbanded Butterfly will eat it but it will ALSO EAT CORAL!!!! Not a good choice IMO :) Peppermint shrimp will only eat them when they are SMALL!
Calcium shot into them kills them! Just be aware of how much calcium you can add to your tank.

Sooo...updates? This is one of my favorite tanks on SWF (no offence to anyone else lol) Idk why even, it's just really got my attention. I want a corner tank sooo bad. lol

LOL...except mine is a 54G corner bow
 
I am surprised people are following my progress.

I have not missed a weekly water change since I started. My tests have been on point. I also dose with a calcium/alkalinity buffer.

+1 I think it looks great! I love that black sand... I almost went that direction but ended up getting alot of white sand for free. Cant wait to see it when it's mature and everything has grown!

i have to say, seeing your tank just sealed the deal on me getting a corner tank. you tank looks great. keep up the good work ill be following
