LOL, your proving my point Bro...Not saying they produce the top NFL QB's, though they have had their share of Hall of Famer's, I'm saying they produce the most NFL QB's....I.E., you don't make an NFL roster at QB if you are bad.
BTW a little math for your earlier comment about how many ranked teams the mighty SEC has vs. the PAC....Here are the final ranking for this past season
1. Florida (60) 13-1 1,524
2. USC 12-1 1,393
3. Texas 12-1 1,389
4. Utah (1) 13-0 1,375
5. Oklahoma 12-2 1,333
6. Alabama 12-2 1,157
7. TCU 11-2 1,114
8. Penn State 11-2 1,091
9. Oregon 10-3 1,011
10. Georgia 10-3 904
11. Ohio State 10-3 874
12. Texas Tech 11-2 867
13. Boise State 12-1 809
14. Virginia Tech 10-4 740
15. Mississippi 9-4 620
16. Missouri 10-4 549
17. Cincinnati 11-3 493
18. Oklahoma State 9-4 480
19. Oregon State 9-4 407
20. Iowa 9-4 250
21. Brigham Young 10-3 248
22. Georgia Tech 9-4 219
23. Florida State 9-4 217
24. Michigan State 9-4 179
25. California 9-4 116

4 out of 10 for the PAC......4 out of 12 ranked for the SEC, and the PAC went undefeated in Bowl games and USC would have walked on Florida. Am I missing anything
?
That said, the SEC is and has been the best football conference for many years, but talking down on the PAC 10 just makes you look silly....ESPN hates the PAC and gives them horrible press, remember the PAC 10 is the only big conference signed with FOX Sports.
way to use the USA Today poll to fit your own needs... why dont you go through the entire 2008 and count up how many SEC teams were in the top 25 and then count up the SEC teams... and be sure to use that the only ranking that matters is the end of season... i know that is true, but why do you think the SEC consistantly has more teams with a tougher SOS... but that all together is another discussion... Leinart will fail, Palmer is done, and Booty will most likely FAIL as well...

When the SEC stops loading up on division 2 teams and doormats to pad their early season records I will be impressed if they can win the first 5 or 6 games. When you are 4 and 0 and havent faced a team from a BCS conference it isn't too impressive

and the upper ranks of the PAC 10 doesnt do this??? please bro that is a wasted arguement... the PAC 10 should not be allowed to schedule ANY nonBCS teams in their schedules... with the likes of Washinghton, WAZU, AZ State and AZ in their conf they should try to find some real games to cover those doormats that the Big 12, SEC and Big Ten use as warm up games...

I don't think I can put it better than this.

Maybe throw in a Utah vs Alabama reference, that's about it. Look what USC has done against the SEC since Pete Carroll took over, can't do any better than perfect.
Again, I think the SEC is outstanding, but I get sick of the "well we play Saboyigan St., Florida International, and Alabam A & T because our conference is so hard."

look at the ranked teams USC played as opposed to the ranked teams the Gators played... 4 teams in the top 5 two of which were ranked #1 at game time... SC had one in the top 5 and only 4 ranked opponents all year long and lost to an unranked beaver team that has had their number for the last few years...

USC plays a challenging out of conference schedule every year. I suppose you think them going to Columbus is easy....I hate Notre Dame as much as anyone, but they are a lot better than Alabama A & T.
ASU damn near played in a BCS bowl in 08.....Washington and WAZZU are in a funk, but both have won BCS Bowl Games in this decade.....Arizona??? Are you serious, they won a Bowl game this year.....The Pac 10 is the best 1-10 of any conference bar none...Do you even watch NCAA football??? Where are you getting this?

Where are you from originally anyway? I'm guessing SEC country due to your Buccaneer love and SEC love and the fact that you are like every other SEC fan I met in S. Carolina for my 6 years, they think the only place that has real college football is the South and are completely cut-off and irrational about the rest of the country.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot.....

they're reporting that stafford and the lions have agreed to a deal...
Typical Lions... I guarantee that this guy is not a starting QB in the NFL in 4 years.
It's actually too bad b/c if he went to a decent situation, where there were other pieces in place then he may develop. But Detroit is just going to destroy this kid's career.

Yep, teams like Vanderturd and Miss are such perennial powerhouses

Give him a season in D-Town, he'll be ready for a trade. Could still work out for the Lions. Hey, if he wins a game he's an instant hero.

ohh ya... and USC opening up against the U of I Vandals is such a great game...

Miss St and Vandy would be a match up for any PAC 10 team...

With a contract like that (I'm not sure how much is guaranteed) who cares?

I'm sick of beating up on Ruaround in our argument....Back to the draft.
Kind of hope the Cardinals can find a buyer for Quan Boldin, sick of his whining and wanting Larry Fitzgerald money, he's a top 10 receiver in the league, but no Fitzgerald, and Steve Breaston could jump into the starting spot easily. Gladly take a 1st and 3rd rounder for him.
