Better overall talent and coaching wins in the end.....even with Foster out. I somehow have yet to jump on the Hasslebeck band wagon. I see hin throwing a key interception. or two.
Carolina wins.....even without the points.
Weather.....probably rain.....
Perhaps those guys over at SI knew something when thay selected Carolina as the SB chanps in the preseason?
If it would be a Pitt/Carolina matchup...when is the last time two wildcard teams won all their playoff games on the road plus advanced to the Superbowl to represent each concference in the same year/SB? I gotta beleive that would be a first!
wow, this man knows about football, i would have to agree with you 100 percent, if i was a member sooner i would have said carolina will be taking it all, but watch out for my dolphins next year, 6 games in a row and i would like to see em rollover to another 6 in a row

You only need a QB. Don't be surprised if you wind up with Culpepper or Aaron Brooks.

Back in June I predicted Carolina and INday in the SB with Indy winning. I was wrong.

In All Honesty It Would Have Been The Colts Scuba But Just Some Bad Calls Did Not Go There Way, Also I Think They Should Have Gone For It On 4th And 2

NO big deal...simply follow tendencies. Young QB's often make mistakes many times in the playoffs. If you beleive this week one Bucs loose ( two inteceptions) and Ginats loose (Manning three interception). Today Grossman big interception plus a horrible completion %.
THe other tendency that has developed is road teams. Road teams are 5-3 through the first two weeks of the playoffs. If this is a trend for this year then odds are the road teams have a good chance of winning next week. However, it is difficult to advance to the SB from a wildcard position PLUS win three road games in the playoffs.
Carolina and Pitt both put a lot of fuel in the tank to win physical games today. Perhaps the emotional pump is dry...always a possibility with having to play that extra game as a wildcard.

They were outcoached and did not deserve to win. Kicking the field goal was the correct call given the history of the place kicker. Perhaps a shorter pass on thrid down should have been attempted. I'm not usre I saw Manning look short.
