Well since once again post get deleted cause of a stupid link..
Here are reflectors that would probably work..they are only 2" wide not 2.5" like the Icecaps and probably can be squeezed some more to fit the Nova fixture

they are made by Tek
Sometimes this site is SOOO hard to even help anyone out with their way of deleting post with a link even though it is not anything offered by this site.

I picked up mine yesterday...my LFS ordered it for me cause they price matched the website I was going to order from. I have the orbit 260w PC light and this new 4bulb T5 light on my 75..man its bright...The T5 def seems to be brighter then the PC..I am thinking of selling that PC light and adding another one of these 4bulb Nova lights.

I am probably going to order 2 of these reflectors to see if they will fit side by side before I order all 4..if they dont I am just going to put them on the 10k bulbs

I hope the reflectors fit. If they do I'll be purchasing a Nova fixture to replace my pc lighting.

If these reflectors work it will be great, novas are the best buy out there because they come with legs, and built in fans and are cheaper then Tec. I like my nova's alot, even without reflectors i have kept a clam and anenome under these lights. Wrap around reflectors ensures the best lighting possible. Let us know how you make out.

I dont mind being the test subject.
Thing I dont like on these lights are the legs..they are really weak almost kinda worried sometimes cause it has some give...My orbit legs are nice and strong...they are the same size and will fit the 4bulb nova light..I am going to try and get a set of th Orbit legs to put on my Nova.

Just found this posted on {EDIT}...Dont know if its true or not
"Just to pass on to you -- we were researching T5's for a 48 also. We currently have Current power compacts. Because of space constraints we wanted something similiar to the power compacts and in researching the Current T5's we found out they are coming out with T5's with individual reflectors in April."
Soo figures right after I buy mine..I hope they sell the individual reflectors as well..I would imagine they would with all the owners of the old T5 light with no individual reflectors.

i just got off the phone with current usa. they told me that its going to be late in the spring before they release these lights. i told her that i heard sometime in april, and she said it was going to be closer to june, if not later. she said that they haven't even told them anything about them except that they are releasing them. she didn't know about a price or if the reflectors themselves would be sold individually.
hope this helps. i may replace my order and just hope that they sell the individual reflectors.

Just got my lights yesterday... Pretty cool although 2 bubbles were broken... I haven't seen the full effect yet.. but bright. The underside of the light casing is mirrored. I thought about these reflectors, but am no sure if you need them unless you are doing SPS corals. The moonlights are white lunars and have a nice shimmering effect and are brighter than I thought. I have a VHO bulb and the nova with the 4 bulbs- The bulbs heated the water up a little by about 2 degrees. The fan was surprisingly very quite- a good buy for those who want higher lighting on a lower budget :cheer:
