No, terrorists can be located anywhere.... OBVIOUSLY! I live in Oklahoma. A terrorist could be your next door neighbor. I don't think they originated in Iraq. Besides, the cause is to take down Al Qaida which my husband did help in. He caught quite a few of those guys over in Iraq and got stabbed/took a bullet for it. They're still hiding out in a few locations here and there. And it's not like they're going to stay in one location for too long. That'd be like a sitting duck just waiting to get caught.

ummmm, becasue he IS speaking to foreign leaders today regarding the economic condition. I figured this would be a good time for him to shine with the 49% of folks that did not vote for him. The world economics are an issue yes......but things are falling apart rapidly especially when companie are laying off and outsourcing jobs by the thousands!
Obama is president elect, he is NOT the president. BIG difference there. It is not his job yet. In Jan. that is a whole nother matter.

Al Qaida in Iraq is a completely different organization formed after the war was started, b/c they were pissed that bush invaded their country for no reason.
Get your facts straight.

Slugo, NW2Salt is correct! Oklahoma has seen it firsthand.
It was April 19, 1995 - Oklahoma City, the Alfred P. Murrah Building.
Timothy McVeigh & Terry Nichols

If another country invaded the u.s. I would form a group and use the exact same tatics as the people of Iraq are, wouldn't you? I may even call it the the christian league of doom.
Would that qualify us terrorists?

He was not a "terrorist" He was not part of an elaborate terrorist group. He was a pissed off individual and was anti-government. NOT anti U.S.A.

Nw2Salt08, stop encouraging the poorly behaved animal. It is ok to step away, we won't think less of you. We know your sacrifice, you do not need to justify anything to the dog.

Sad how some people will kill people they don't even know for reasons that are so much less important than life itself. What are they thinking?

It is very sad....sorry bout the last several posts between sloglo and me. It's a very heated debate about that. Wish people didn't think like Timothy did. But, it's in the past.

We should probably get back to the topic. I don't think the mods would like us being so off topic about this.

And spare me the "they are protecting our freedoms" that is a load a bs, wwI and wwII, were about protecting our freedoms, not Iraq, they couldn't reach the u.s if they tried

i would start with...she is proud of the fact her husband will stand up for his rights and the rights of others...unlike a sniveling coward like you ,who could only voice such a harsh opinion over the internet

One of the other Mods has slain the Troll.
Sorry all, the internet in Baghdad still isn't 100%. I lost connection for a while before I could completely clean up the forums.
It amazes me some of the myths perpetuated by one side of the spectrum....
Anyways, to those who serve, have served, or who have loved ones serving, a big Thank You. If any of you were offended in the past hour or so please accept our apologies and know that we have dealt with the problem poster.
