One thing I don't think has been discussed about Obamas charisma is his ability to draw in new voters. It might be Clinton, too but he is winning the fundraising campaigns. On the Sunday talk shows, one of the guests stated that Dems are outnumbering Repugs in new voter registration by at least 2:1, and in most cities, much more than that. People are pumped about voting. That rox!
Operation Chaos is in effect.....
I love how everyone is placing so much stock in the number of regeistered democrats this year.....we will see the final tally come general election time. My fiance supports Hilary but if Obama gets the nod she will vote McCain or not vote. Her father has expressed as much as have many Hilary supporters, vice versa for Obama supporters. You will see a drop off in the number democrats that voted in the primary versus the General election. I would bet the house on it.

Thats big... and stupid... McCain and Clinton have much different views... Obama is the most like Clinton... if she is a democratic.. she should be totally opposed to a continuation of Bush policy.
Second, 3 Supreme Court judges will probably be appointed.. so its important that she considers this.. We need a new direction... and if she doesn't vote.. she has no right to complain when things go bad.

This is the conclusion on Race issues on the campaign. SOME Caucasians thinks Obama is racist because of his Pastor
.Most African Americans know McCain is racist because of his personal actions.
So people who thinks McCain is a step up from Obama on a personal level are ........................... You fill in the blank.

My point is of the bias that people overlook real issues... like the fact that
Pres. Clinton got something like $25 million (which was set-up to look like an investment) for his work as basically a spokesperon for Dubai. If you want to talk about middle -eastern ties... lets look at the real ones, instead of guilt by association or a posting on someone elses website decribing a point of view.

Or both, as I would prefer. The issue that Obama has ran on this idea that he is "clean and pure" and it simply isn't the case. Hillary has plenty of ethical and legal problems too. We just need to let obama catch up.

Yes, I know about this scumbag tactic. Our sons are dying in Iraq to bring them fair elections, but in our own country this creep is trying to thwart our elections. What a traitor.
Sad thing is, even someone who says he supports McBush doesn't think he can beat Obama.

I agree. its guilt by association, and an unwillingness to challenge america's own biases and perceptions when it comes to race. I have sense to why people are fearful... but that fear is based on their own racial perceptions. If you look at how the media and people are treating this... this is the only negatives they can find on him, are some of the people that have entered his life... his own merits are outstanding... But all I hear is Rezko and Wright.. and nothing about the negatives of the other candidates... Obama seems as if he is able to get along with a wide and diverse group of people, whereas McCain is known as an extention of Bush, and known to have a terrible temper, and doesn't work well with people he doesn't like. ... Clinton is divisive and very polarized. She is a fighter, but a "dirty fighter" she lacks the integrity of Obama.. and many people in her own party don't like her...
These qualities are very important, and will show through.

It isn't American elections it is elections for the party. The party sets the rules (like superdelegates) and the candidates and how the votes are counted or not counted.

lol I think Clinton and Obama have similar ethics. McCain is no extention of Bush (that would be a compliment compared to what McCain really is) Remember he is the one who almost switched parties a couple times over the alast 8 years.
Hey if you want to hear negatives about Hillary why don't you talk to the Obama campain. And if you want to read negatives about McCain, just read the NYT remember that unsourced story about his relationship with lobbiests.
btw are you saying that
  • Clinton is divisive and very polarized
  • McCain is known to have a terrible temper
doesn't work well with people he doesn't like
are real issues? Come on.

lol, I'm not going to vote for obama and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. But more about his policy opinions.

Yes, but where in "the rules" does it say that one party interfering in the other is cool? Your candidate is so lacking that he can't win on his own?
Limbaugh is such a unpatriot. He will do anything to get a diitohead in, even if it cheats the American public of a fair election. This is what our sons are dying for.

Great insult! Touche! If anyone disagrees with the party line, they are on crack.
Aren't you the guy who wanted to kick up the discussion to a adult level? Discuss his points or not, but insulting him/her is just lame.

Rylan, I AGREE 100%.
I don't expect everybody to agree with us. Just goes to show that we can commnicate with other people who's views and beliefs are far off from us. Thats life.
I was watching Larry King with Michael Moore. When asked about Clinton’s assertion that she’d walk out on controversial statements made by Wright if he were her pastor, Moore joked that if, as a practicing Catholic, he left the church every time a priest said something from the pulpit that he didn’t agree with, “that would have been so much aerobic activity for me, I wouldn’t look like this.”

POSITIVE IS HOW I LIVE..
Obama 2008.
