off topic "SNOW"

OK! It started out raining this a.m., then sleeting and now its blowing, cold and snowing!! Did anyone say "beach".
That pool looks pretty darned good right about now.

I love the snow once a year just to look at it. Any more than that is a pain. I live in nc and we have about 1 good snow a year. When I say good it barely covers the ground. So I love snow. I think it depends on where you live. If you live somewhere where there isnt much snow then you like it. If you live somewhere where it snows all the time you hate it. Go figure. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Worst part ( and I think Sammy had mentioned this ) is the first snowfall of the year ( that actually sticks to the road ).. people just go nutty... Like they forgot how to drive in snow... In 8 months they completely forget.... :mad:
Oh... and it is snowing out today... WOOHOO

we lost power and water for 14 days last year in Feb. when we get ice, then snow it weighs the trees down and they up-root
no roadway or powerline is safe.
I just moved back to ky from Sac. 2years ago, and I can honestly say I didnt miss dangerous winters when I was in Cali.

..........i hate snow, and i hate wisconsin, and i hate the cold!!! i wouldnt care how hot it is, as long as it isnt cold, some day i will live somewere HOT allllllllll year........

for the last week here in washington we have had about 7 inches of snow followed by freezing rainso we have been covered with thick sheets of ice. finally melting. this was very unusual weather for the area i live in.

Wablondie...I heard you guys got the snow pretty bad down in vancouver/portland. Here in Gig Harbor/Tacoma area we got about 5 inches and it turned to rain the next day...you guys still have a lot on the ground around there?

yeah we got it real bad.it has been melting for the past few days. the roads are finally clear, but we still have a lot in yards and sidewalks.

Yuck!!! HATE IT!! We have been very lucky so far (knock on wood).
February and March bring in the wicked stuff. We have the snow blower ready and waiting.
