How is your algea?? I know my phosphates have to be high, I have lots of hair algea in my tank. I added a few more macros and my new filter should be here in about 3 weeks. (backorder)

I have some cyano on the sand...very little on the rocks though...a couple small patches of hair, and that's it...The cyano on the sand I syphon periodically..I don't want to stir stuff up, and I can pull off the hair.

I.m going to do my w/c later, and then give it a few days...(back to work.)..I'll keep testing, and if need be I'll do another w/c Wednesday
I don't want to upset the horses too much.

OK...added phosphate pads to filter
, cleaned skimmer, siphoned some off the sand
I usually wait 24 hours to do a water change...should I just do it tonight...after salt is mixed and proper temp is achieved?
I want some of these!!!!!!!

I took 2 hours off the light timer
I am making RO/DI for a water change...it's a 54g I'll do a 10g change
I feed 1 cube mysis and 1 of gteh small cubes brine in the a.m.
and 1 cube mysis in the p.m.
Any other suggestions...
My horses seem fine BTW
Its coming from the brine if you thaw it out in a test tube remove the brine leave the liquid and add to right testing level then test for phos you will be very surprise what the phosphates are. I did this when my phos where at 2 and after testing they where of the chart. I went crazy trying to find out where mine where coming from till i finally did this test.
