The blondes are taking over, guess I better get a dye job.
Don't bother - I tried that and it doesn't work. Besides, from the comments I've "heard" - you don't need to!!!

Has anyone else noticed that the posts in this forum have become a lot more personal since this thread?? I was just reading over a few threads and realized that everyone is joking more and having more fun. It just seems like when I post now or read a post I can picture the person who I am writing to or who is posting. I think this is exactly what this board needed :) It just seems that much more personal now.
Anyways, I am about to go study for a Eukaryotic Cell Structure test I have on Friday, so good night to everyone. Oh by the way, I went to speak with one of the curators of the museum here on campus who studies malacology ang marine invertebrates and I think I am going to start helping out in his lab identifying shells and various corals! I will tell you guys more about it when I don't have a test to study for. They are actually researching some pretty cool stuff that everyone would be interested in. Good night everyone!!

Yep, blonde, I did notice:) Look what you went and started with this thread! I've been lurking for a while before I signed up and I noticed also that people are posting more "just 'cause" stuff (like pics and stuff added, etc...) instead of only problems and questions. Also the responses are more personal instead of technical. And there also seems to even be less flaming! I guess it's harder to "slam" someone when you know what they look like ;) :D
Again, good job on starting this thread.

Well since all the nice pics are out of the way ... might a well give you all a pic to scare the mice out of the closet with :) he i am .. but i am warned :p (yes i keep snakes to) :)

Nope - still wondering what would be an appropriate prize.
Any ideas ? Remember "appropriate" ;)
nolofinwe - still trying to figure out your prize too.
I think I'll get RyeBread a new tie - not a clip on though :D
I saw a really NICE one at Odd Lots/Big Lots - sort of a paisley polka-dotted striped baby with a hint of beautiful Scottish plaid tartan patches. I believe it was made from virgin polyester too :p
Quite the eye-catcher - and would be cool to sport at the Cincinnati dance clubs !

Magic,
Great shots! Where were you diving? One of my dreams is to go diving but where I live the closest ocean is the North Atlantic and I'm not that anxious to see flounder and sea robins! Getting to a warmer spot costs time and money......and my wife doesn't swim so it's a hard sell!
Thanks for the pics.

BRING IT ON jonthefb !!!
Just kidding
My dads side is 100% Scottish - and we have our family tartan colors - ya know - tradition.
My moms side is North American Hillbilly - so we used to go to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky on vacation and look at all them there pointy thingies hangin down from the rufe in the cave.
Me - I'm just a mixed Hill Jack that has partied too much in the past with Redneck Scottish blood running through my veins - but our family tree DOES branch !!!!!
Grandpa had a bag pipe in his attic - I wanted to steal it when I was in high school ...... and make something else out of it
Ahhhhhhhh ......... getting to know the people behind the posts LOL !!!! Now you know much more than I'm sure you ever wanted :p
