If time is money. Model boats have cost me a ton. The completed boat is the USS Constitution that I built for my dad as a surprise 3 years ago. WHen I was 15, he built a plastic one that took 200 hrs and I smashed it by accident with a tennis racket. So I decided to build him one out of wood from scratch. This one took me 419 hours and is now on display in a case at his house. He was floored. The other PIC is of a partially finishe HMS Victory. I have a cut away hull, lights and 250 hours into it. Another 250+ and it will be dome. It hit the dry docks once I got into the third picture.

I's still buy you a beer if you had a beer belly.

i dabble with bonsai trees, I get a little bit more serious every year... The most I have spent on a single tree is 300 dollars and I have 6 trees.
It's not so much the money you spend, but the time. Every day I have to take about 15 minutes to water and just make sure they are ok.

Ours are tattoos, drinking beer and toy collecting (and of course the tank). It gets outrageous!!!
I get so mad at my other half for finding more things to buy every time he sits in front of the computer. Our whole dining room and spare bedroom are filled with our collection.
This pic is just part of our collection (I am a huge snoopy freak!!!
) We are going to rearrange when we paint the room black with orange trim. It is going to look great!! As for tats do not have pics readily available but we have quite a few!!!

Wow, drinking as a hobby, that's a positive spin on it. Check me off for that one. I have a bunch of r/c's (mostly 1/8th nitro buggies, Mugen baby!). And my Caddy ;) would be my other hobbies.

We paid $8500 for my guy, and he was pretty much untrained in dressage, just knew absolute basics. Yeah, its pretty expensive and there is no way I could afford it if it wasn't for my parents.

My father has an appaloosa that could double as a twin for yours...very very pretty horse.

i have a sapac extra 330l. the first and last flight i got it of the ground for 2-3 second then i didn't notice the back wheel was tangled to and old string that was stuck to the ground so when it ran out of string the plane went to the ground and crashed, not bad. it will only take $20 worth of part to fix it, but i dont really want to fly it anymore

And thats me too. I have several Nitro -- planes to unload along with all of the small essentials to the hobby. I couldnt even guess as to how much i have invested in it for over 10 years but I do know its alot. I have 6 nitro planes right now and the biggest has a wing span of about 6 feet. Its never seen the air it was professionally built and I get sea legs everytime I start it up and want to fly it. Prob because I cant replace it if it goes in. LOL
4 wheeling....
