The ordinary man seems to believe that God is the most moral being in the universe. (Whether he believes that God is morally perfect we need not decide). Part of this belief of the ordinary man is that God does not have certain kinds of feelings. Although God may have the feeling of anger, God does not have the feelings of lust or envy. Moreover, part of this ordinary concept of God is that God knows more than anyone else. (Again whether the ordinary man believes that God knows everything we

It all still goes back to who invented the wheel.
Like I said, I don't doubt evolution but you can't go from a stone wheel to a metal sprocket in one step nor would you go from a wooden wheel to a propeller in one step. There has to be logical progressions.
You brought up the human appendix. Is their any hard scientific evidence of what that organ was used for? If that small evolutionary change has occurred so gradually over time shouldn't we also have seamless fossil records of our evolution from whatever ape like substance we started as?
i was trying to make it basic
eithier way the branched of form the wheel in the same manner
Exactly it wasnt ONE step its maybye hundreds, thousands or MILLIONS of minor tweaks to work your way up to a propelle ror metal sprocket.
The human appendix was discover to contain bacteria that help to digest plants hard organic matter (celluose and etc). The human appendix has also been discovered to sooth stomach aches (having a diet of only plants causes frequent stomach aches)
You would think we would have a seamless fossil record, however the environment isnt to kind to the earth. Our continents moved like 3 times (of course a theory) so would you expect alot of the fossils to be lost?

To me, god is impossible because of evolution as well as the inconsistencies through out history and the sheer ignorance/arrogance of the church.
How does evolution make god impossible?
According to all religious teachings I have ever seen man, thus his institutions such as churches are imperfect and subject to things like arrogance and inconsistencies over time.

If there was a breech in other fossil records, yes.

True to a degree if you are refering to scientists...I am refering to the subscribers of the "religion" of science that refute GOD and call it all "fables" "Bedtime stories", and/or "fairy tales". (i dont believe in the religion of science i could be classifed as an evolutionist, Dwarinism is more of a religion if anything.)
How many times in this thread alone have those three words been used in refrence to the possibility of a "god". (alot)
It doesn't bring doubt onto creationism either as the creationism belief is very vague on the creation...there is no detail describing how it was done...how long it took....so on and so forth....
My point exactly, if i saw a burning bush talking to me claiming it was god, id ask more than mediocre questions that any human could of answered.

Evolution states man came from a one celled organism not magically put here into a garden by god.

One simple fact, evolution states we evolved and nothing more than animals. Creationism believes god created us out of NOWWHERE (abiogenisis). I have seen originisms, through a microscope, evolve before my eyes but i hhave never seen some magically appear other than criss angel (
sorry i had too )

Based on a theory using fossil records of other creatures and the assumption that man evolved that very same way.
Here's one for you, what if Adam and Eve were single cell organisms placed in the ooze pool by god?

Some people can quit smoking, drugs, or alcohol cold turkey without help, and other's need help. Does this make them stupid/weak or less of a person as well?

Again you are looking at through the interpretation of another person. I see nothing in the bible that states they were created out of nowhere....poof.....It just states GOD created them...does state how. Is it not possible they were created through an evolutionary process.....
If you look at the "7 days of creation" that in itself is an evolutionary process....told before the thought of evolution every was thought of or discussed.

Then that would suggest, to me at least, that 'humans' are no better in gods eyes then dogs, fish, insects, etc, that don't have any type of 'worship.' So sweet, I don't have to wake up way too darn early for church

Laughing at someone's "weakness" is no different than viewing them as stupid or weak...
No offense taken....I would just like to see more of an indepth statement from you in this debate other than one liners meant to incite/irritate.

Then why would we "evolve" further than "them"? If you actually believe you are no better, then stop using the toilet, wshing your hands and showering, and so forth....
