It is part of the reason that it went into auction, but Nolan was in charge of finding a buyer for the team. Which he wanted to be a part of. So people came to him with offers to buy the team and making him offers as part owner. (talk about a great conflict of interest.) The southwest sports group (hick's company) got sued by the creditors because of that conflict of interest saying that they got a sweetheart deal. So then it went to auction based off that suit.

who would follow the rangers if you didnt live here?i wouldnt with their past record.
did i screw up?my hockey team buffalo sabres are coming here to play the stars saturday.i bought tickets a couple days ago.totally forgot cliff lee is pitching game 3 at the same start time.damn
i really doubt i can record the baseball and make it home without knowing the outcome before i get home.

also hicks wanted to keep the parking lot there that he owns.separate out of the bankruptcy so the snake could get bailed from the team but keep the income from the lots he owns.he also owns the dallas stars so the man had the cash to bail out the rangers but didnt.
who would want to play for this guy?the team was around .500 in games played at sale time.after the sale is when they poured it on.might be coincidence but who knows.how bout those cowboys

Not sure whom I'm rooting for. I kind of like the Rangers, but I really like Timmy. I suppose I will root for the Giants tonight, but hope the Rangers win the series....I just hope it is a good series and goes 7 games.

Brian says he just didn't feel like shaving. He dyed his beard black because he thought it would be cool to have a ridiculouslydark beard. He claims to be a certified ninja. He's a funny guy lol

yesterday was a fluke.the giants usually dont hit like that.and lee was just way off .the giants are some weird looking dudes.the just for men bearded pitcher,the short stop looks like a black gumby,and dont know his name but when he was at bat the white guy looked like a stone faced learch.plus the 12 year old pitcher needs to get some hair conditioner if he wants the girlie locks
although all the radio guys from here that are there keep saying how nice everyone in S.F. is and whats is the most beautiful stadium in the league.whats up with all the pot heads there?.

guess i listen to the local radio guys too much.what a butt whooping.now i am a little happy i am going to the hockey game tomorrow.wonder what the radio people are going to say today?pretty tough to dig out of this.but i am still happy they made it this far.none of my other sports teams have done it in 15 years.

They used Wilson (fear the beard) in the first game, but they were only going to use him in the second game if the score was tight. He wasn't needed after the 8th. Cain did a great job!!
The giants could have just stood in front of the plate and done nothing and they still would have won. Wilson did great, but their bullpen was horrible... It wouldn't have mattered anyways considering the Rangers weren't scoring any runs. They walked in how many runs for the Giants? 3? They couldn't throw a strike if their life depended on it.

Pretty much everyone but our local people under estimate the Giants, or for some reason or another, they just don't want us to win. Media can be a powerful influence, so of course you're going to think we suck. The truth is, the Giants LOVE being the underdogs!!
It does help that some of our guys who have been hanging out in that background have really been stepping up lately... Renteria with his homerun last night and Cody Ross... Who the heck was he before Post Season? We wouldn't have made it this far without him! The Giants are GREAT! and the Bay Area love their band of "misfits and castoffs" =)

i still have faith in the rangers but at least we will have a new champ this year.that stadium just looks awesome on tv .luckily i fell asleep at the end of the 7th inning yesterday.

thats more like it.i expected every game to go this way .low score either way.it aint over yet.feliz is always at 97-99 mph just awesome
