My husband is the PS3 person.....I have no problems buying him equipment (sw fish are expensive

I have the 80gig version...and you can upgrade that too. No reason to buy the 160gig if you're planning on upgrading. Other than having a bigger drive, right out of the box, they're the exact same thing.
When my girlfriend bought mine, I was using a regular 32" TV. I promptly went out and bought a 50" LG LCD and thought I was in heaven. I have never had mine online, but have friends that do it and there's alot of really cool stuff you can do, including surfing the net.
I download PS3 themes onto my laptop, copy them to my flash drive and then pop the flash drive into the PS3. You can copy music, pictures, etc from laptop to PS3.

No Problem.
Sony announced the ps3 slim earlier this morning($299, should be on shelves 1st week of september) and is dropping the price on the current models to $299(supposedly on bundles aswell). The price drop takes affect tomorrow 08/19/09. If the bundles are dropped aswell, you should try to find a bestbuy that still had the Metal Gear Solid bundle. Its a 80GB PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Killzone 2. Not bad for $300.

Sony announced the ps3 slim earlier this morning($299, should be on shelves 1st week of september) and is dropping the price on the current models to $299(supposedly on bundles aswell). The price drop takes affect tomorrow 08/19/09. If the bundles are dropped aswell, you should try to find a bestbuy that still had the Metal Gear Solid bundle. They said they were gonna drop the price in April but they dropped the ps2 instead. I was waiting for my $100 rebate that didn't happened. Cuz I got mine from target which has a 3 month price protection. Where u get the difference if the price drop on the system u buy. I'm sure they will drop it for the holidays.
