Siphon once you see it.
I have tried this, with mixed result. There is a danger that I don't get all of the worm. Then I risk the chance of it becoming or 2 /3 new worms. I have read that they can spawn 100 to 200 new worms also.
This is what I have been doing so far. I grab a flashlight and search the tank at night. (I know get a life!) The trick is to find them first; then catch them :hilarious.
I have found that they are easy to get if you can spot them on the sand bed or the glass. Forget even trying if they are on rocks, (unless the rock can be removed safely from the tank and given a fresh water flush)
I have removed about a dozen polyclads from 1/16 of an inch, to 3 inches.
Building a small cage and using a snail for bait?
That might be a option that will at least get me some sleep :sleepy:
Any other Ideas out there?
To bad they do so much damage. They are pretty cool to watch. I even got to see a fierce battle between a bristle worm and a polyclad. I have one less bristle worm
