Well I feed it twice a week. They need to be fed and with my tank being so small it is quite easy to feed but i also have to watch my feedings to make sure I don't pollute the tank either as I have no fish in there only a pom pom crab and a cleaner shrimp.
I feed it frozen mysis, brine and pellets using a turkey baster. I have just ordered some cyc-lopeeze pellets too that I really am looking forward to trying. I do turn off my filter even though its a small one it still blows the food off the suncoral.
When you do get a new one, put it in a place that is easy for you to feed it. Some people use a pop bottle cut out to fit over the coral and drop the food down on it that way, fish and other critter cannot get at it either that way or some take it out of the tank in a dish of tank water and feed it then put it back in the tank after its feeding is done.
They sure are pretty and I am going to get my butt in gear now and train it to open during the daytime for feedings as they are nocturnal. They are easily trained to open during the day providing there is food.
I also love the Dendros, I think I would have bought one of those instead but could not find any around here where I live. The suncoral is a nice addition though to the tank.

This isn't a coral but it is so pretty...It is a feather duster cluster. There are about 50 little cuties.
My favorite coral...My fox

Very nice Flower...where have you been???
You missed me? Your so nice.
My Mother had surgery Tuesday. The meds made her act crazy ( she was scared and didn't know where she was)and my sister and I have been keeping 24 hour vigil, taking shifts. She was moved to a nursing home for now...She is back to her normal self so I have get to sleep in a bed tonite instead of a chair. She had her knee replaced for the second time.
If a doctor ever says I need knee replacement...I will bump my butt on the ground the get around before I will let someone do that to me.

That's funny...a lot of the people at the church I work for have knee replacements and they usually turn out okay...may be she just had a bad reaction to the meds....glad you're back

Thank you, she is ghetting better. I want to share a glimpse of the facts the doctors don't mention...
They take a hammer and pound a rod up into the thigh and another into the lower leg to hold the new knee contraption. That's the part that loosens up and wiggles when it goes bad later, when it is time to redo. The doctor was all happy because my mother had good strong bones to hold it and it hardly chipped at all this last time.
After:
They had her on 2 cc of morphine every 6 minutes to control the agony, 2 minutes before the next dose she was crying and shaking in pain. But hey it was only 3 days. Now she is able to bend her leg a little and they got her to a wheel chair to go to the bathroom. She took little steps with a walker this afternoon.
My Mother had both knees replaced 14 years ago. The doctor said they were good for 10 years. The new one is good for 20 years. The other doesn’t work well but she can't stand to do two at once again. She says she was not all that crippled in the first place and should not have had it done then at the age of 58, this time at age 72, she HAD to. The thing was broke and churning black gunk into her muscle tissue from metal rubbing metal.
Your doctors are idiots IMO. At 35, twenty years from then you will be 55, which is extremely young, so you will have to do it yet again 20 years later at 75. That’s 3 Xs, and you think you are going to have enough meat and bones left to be able to do that? No way.
Do you see where I am going with this? It is horrible pain and it won't last. You will have to do it again, and at 35 that means you will have to go through it three times.
My Father had polio and had his hip replaced. The first time all went relatively well. The second time here was not enough bone to hold it together, they did it and it all came apart. They tried to fix it but it didn't take and as a result he landed up crippled in a wheel chair, and he was in pain until he died at 78. When he could have lived limping, pain free for many years. Yeh thanks doc. My Dad was all happy he didn't limp anymore, until the redo.
I say if you can walk at all do not let them do it
. It isn't the first time that gets you, it’s the second and third time.
I will live my life in wheel chair before I will be stupid enough to let some idiot cut my knees out and put in a replacement that won't last my whole lifetime.
So my honest advice would be that until you are in a wheel chair don't do it. Trust me, that little pain you have now is nothing compared to what the good old doctors will put you through. Those replacements will never, ever be as strong and agile as the ones God gave you. Don't be so quick to trade them in.
