For me, this one is the ugliest

The Blobfish!
This one is rarely seen by humans and can be found in Australia and Tasmania. They live in a very deep sea, at a depth of around 800 meters. It has a gelatinous body and has no muscle at all!

What role do they play in the ecosystem Joe? What do they consume? It is an interesting design for a fish. It is like it is supposed to fit in with human kind.

Actually there has not been much research on them so exactly where they fall in the food chain has not been established. IMO if anything is eliminated from the food chain it will affect the ecosystem in some way. Their downfall is that they are located 800m on the bottom and ships trawling for crab and or lobster catch them in their nets

Sorry I dont understand this question

How things blend into their surroundings in order to capture food or avoid prey. This fish looks like a super super ugly human face-- my point was, what surrounding do they fit in and why. Why do they look like that. It isn't a speed modification.
