I wish people would open their eyes and see the McCain campaign strategy for what it is...
Are you saying the quote isn't from Powell? Or that I'm just misinterpretating it?
Powell literally
said he wants to start a 'New Africa here
.' I bolded 'here' because, as an American (Powell) addressing other Americans, I would think he means within the United States.

How in the world am I suppose to take that? That without a shadow of a doubt, is a severly Separatist statement. But, you were already asked once, what 'New Africa' was, and blow it off, so I guess asking for links to what this 'New Africa' is, is out of the question.

This guy was the top lawyer in the country when he came out of Harvard... could have had any job in America... at a very lucrative salary... what did he do?

How in the heck do you come up with that BS? Never tried a single case, straight out of college, and here's the top lawyer????
Crimzy, are you hearing this guy??

I just tuned in to this one... been kind of busy over in another political thread.
Can't really argue with it, though. Editor of Harvard Law Review, Constitutional Law Professor for 12 years. IMO, that's about as good as it gets.
BTW, I love your avatar... what kind of zoos are those. Amazing!!

Why is this so?
Bulk overseas sales of campaign hats and T shirts
Multiple small donations that far exceed the legal limit
Foreign donations
Seems Obama's fundraising tactics follows the same strategy as ACORN's voter registration fraud. Burry it under so much paperwork it will be months after the election before the fraud is detected.

I think the average donation to the Obama camp has been around $95 and has been a stunning success! If McCain had gone this route how much money do you think he would have raised?
About ACORN, the funny thing is this. There are no doubt bogus registrations because people wanted more $$ they got from filling them out and collectiong them. I doubt Mickey Mouse, Superman, Batman and all the other bogus registrations are gonna show up to vote. Also, the people who collected them are from my understanding obligated to turn each form in regardless.

what even funnier to me is that he wasn't addressing other americans, and he wasn't in the US when he made the comments... he was addressing africans... and at a concert by Nigerian artists.
thats the problem ... nothing you guys have is in context.

Isn't it a law that they can't disgard registrations.. but intstead they submit them as suspicious if they seem fraudulent?
And McCain can't match Obama on fund raising... This guy has run the most successful presidential campaign probably in history... The whole organization is stellar from top to bottom...

Is it a law that foreigners or immigrants can't donate? And this is the same law that McCain administered.... if there are issues or loopholes... they all go back to him...
If people want to buy Obama t-shirts... than great... what is the problem with this?
All your accusations mean what?

Nice try but no. They have even claimed to be checking for phoney registrations

The Mob was pretty good at raising money too.

It is a law that foreigners cant contribute. It's also a law that people can't contribute over 2300.00 either.
Yet Obama accepted over 17,000.00 from Doodad Pro and 11,000.00 from Good Will who listed his occupation as loving and employer as you. Those are just two that were listed in the Newsweak article.

all preferences aside, you are just rediculous, "the most successful presidential campaign probably in history"? Are you really serious? Due to the policial winds this shouldn't even be close, you have an unpopular president, you have the perception of a major economic crisis. Then you have every major media outlet in the bag for you, but yet 2 weeks before the election you don't have it in the bag.

No Rylan. Foreigners can donate to Presidential candidates. What could possibly be wrong with foreign money influencing our Presidential elections...
