Project you can't have...

Do you think that a maxijet1200 would be a sufficient return pump and my sole source of flow? I was thinking about using a wye and locline w/flared ends on the return line to minimize clutter as I'm not a fan of a tank packed with koralias and other power heads. water would be traveling up about 3 feet.

Nah I've had an itch for awhile, but I was only gonna start another nano if it was worth it... this tank makes it worth it IMO.

Any updates? Did you fill it up with water yet?
no I gotta put that on hold for a week. I know it doesn't leak, I was there when they took it down. I need to get the overflow, return wye and locline, and the maxijet utility pump ordered.
Anyone know what the nano super from glass holes is supposed to flow with teeth?

Yeah I've got updates, I'm doing a paper slowly, but surely for tomorrow. LOL
I can start ordering stuff towards the end of the week when I have time to really think it all out. Also I'm concerned about sump space issues, I dunno if I'm going to be able a standard 5.5gallon in there... I may have to knock holes in the back of the stand or find some sort of acryllic custom sump or sumps... LOL... there is a shelf in there separating two areas in the stand.

AHAHAHA, I don't know if they'll be cool about me building a tank in the game area.
Seriously though, I emailed glass holes and I'm waiting on a response for which overflow, return, and return pump they recommend for my application. I may be able to get a hold of a digital camera for some of it. I'm not really a pictures person, seeing something with your own eyes is much better.

I'll try to borrow a digital camera, I'd hate to have blood on my hands for a $400 flight lol.

Are you saying that sarcastically? I knew you were on MA-AST too lol..I have lusted over this tank for months man...its a big deal to me.

Still flattering though that someone living in Kenosha, Wisconsin zip code 53144 would take the time though to stalk me on a Texas board.
