Punctuation

Now if we all spelled phonetically there would be no problem between read and read. We could say reed and red... Or re-reed, rereed, re reed, re red, rered, re-red...

No, not every single one is but the fact that even one (and who are we trying to kid, there are numerous grads that can't make change) kid can be considered educated when they don't have basic math skills is rediculous.

This thread is showing how narrow minded, and ignorant some people really are.
It is sad. I wont respond to threads with improper grammar, That IMO is childish. We say we are on here to help people but for the sake that they mispell a few words or do not use a period where it is needed, You will deny them your knowledge. My kids act more mature than that.

Then you should be proud and hopefully they are not a part of the individuals that I am talking about. Hopefully they know how to make a sentence correctly and spell words in their proper format and not use WAZUP for whats up, DIS and DAT for this and that, WUT for what.

I am referring to those that type ebonics or whatever you want to call it in here. I am talking about people that jon321 pointed out.
"what some mushrooms: i was woundering if any one hade some mushrooms for sale if do right me back thanx"
"wtb pollypes of aney sort: " " ime looking fore some pollypes of eney sort
pm me"
Now, even though you and I know what they are tryng to say, it seems obvious that this person failed in english class or doesnt care that he/she spells correctly. I choose to say they are uneducated. An educated person wont make as many mistakes as that simply due to a typo. This person clearly shows ignorance in grammar.

I think that those post's with massive amounts of misspelling are few and far between. Move on if they enrage you that much. However some people may not understand or realize that there spelling is so bad, And to deny them any help with there saltwater related problem is childish. IMO

I just want to point out that a lot grammar/puncuation problems I see online are from people who do not speak english as a first language. When I see "location" as France, or Germany, or Japan I let a lot of things slide because I think its extremely respectable that someone tries to speak native languages despite not being completely fluent. Even so, you can usually tell if someone is just ignorant or its an honest mispelling.
The two examples I posted before are from people Ive met personally that have lived in Canada all their lifes and speak english as their only language. I try not to be rude to people, but I honestly laugh out loud whenever I read posts like these. I dont know what the point of debating this is, you cant fix stupid.

This is a chain letter but I find it fascinating. Can you read it?
fi yuo cna raed tihs, yuo hvae a sgtrane and brlliaint mnid too
Cna yuo raed tihs? Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 can.
i cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! if you can raed tihs forwrad it
Now, I can actually read it just fine. It is a crazy thing!
I'll admit to being exceedingly annoyed at times by some of the things I read on forums. I can't get around it. But I do try and step back a bit and keep things in perspective. I am most aware of things that are just plain rude, but I think in some respects this issue is self correcting. The help people are given is often correlated to how well they express themselves and their problem. Those that are the least coherent often get into chats with people their same age, but don't find an audience or assistance from others. That, admittedly, is an approach I take if I find the original post annoying due to grammar or spelling issues.
I know I am likely to make spelling or punctuation mistakes so I am careful not to throw too many stones
