so funny...we all seem so close sometimes....but we are thousands of miles away :(
It's amazing how we can form bonds with people so far away! This modern, high tech world is incredible!
Makes it feel like I could just jog right over, but reality is that would be one long 3 day weekend!

hmmm...that still seems like a pretty long drive, even for me lol. I wonder how much it would be to ship one? Might be cheaper.

I don't know about UPS but I remember moving when I was a kid and my parents flew our pets from Cali to Michigan using the airlines. I'll try and looking it up and see what I find.

I am not sure what town you are in, but do a google search for your town name and then puppy rescue. You should be able to find something. This might help. Linky thing. Also go to Petfinder You might be able to get the names of some rescues that can help you. You just might have to foster them for a bit. Trust me, it is fun!
Figured you'd be along sooner or later! I know you do this alot and admire you for it! I know it's not easy! Thanks for the info. and the linky thing. I will check them out!

Cool! LMK what you find out! Bet I will have to get them their shots first! Was thinking of taking them to the vet tomorrow, just to check their health and get them wormed(if needed)! They seem very healthy and used to people. Someone was taking care of these dogs. I wonder what happened?

Yes will have to contact an airline for actual pricing. But I was just reading that pretty much all airlines require them to be vaccinated with paperwork stating when they were vaccinated along with a certificate of good health from a vet.

Ahh that is the beauty of doing the rescue thing. You get to play with the dogs and love them and they will take care of the shots and all that stuff. You may have to still take them to the vet, but they pay for it all. They may even have all the shot stuff and come to your house and give it to them.
BTW, you are lucky, girl dogs for faster than boy dog do. At least out here they do.

In all reality, I think flying a pup from one state to another would be really costly....for all that money, you can adopt one locally and also make a nice donation to a rescue center.....
Shrimpy do what Scotts said...That's what I did, and it worked for me :)
quills....if yo uare really looking for a puppy....check your local shelters....I'd bet they have one for you :)

You make a good point, Meowzer. I don't want to really put you out of any money, I mean this should never have had to be your burden to bear. They are just too cool and would love to have one. Was thinking if we could do it for cheap enough and split the cost then maybe it would be worth while. But if you can find someone to take them locally then by all means, go 4 it.

Hey Scotts,
I am in Cleveland, GA. I can call the place you gave me tomorrow, but was wondering if telling you the town I'm in might help you, help me, find a more local place!

Yes, I will try to find them someplace local, but I will keep you in mind(just in case). If nothing else, you have given me hope that someone out there will want these dogs. Thanks!

I've been there, but only for one day. It was one of our stops on a cruise several years ago.

It's horrible what people will do. I have heard similar stories, here in America about people throwing dogs and kittens in a bag,in the river!
I don't know why they get animals if they are not going to be responsible for them.
All my animals get fixed first thing.

If you don’t want to keep the pups yourself..Time is not on your side. It’s very hard to place a dog, everyone wants a puppy.
They look like Beagle mixes to me as well. Very cute, but a hardheaded breed. Kudos for rescuing them!
Hope you can find them a good happy home, put little cards up at your local supermarket, also the laundry mats have a bulletin board. Not just the shelters…post a picture anywhere you can, to find a placement for them while they are young and adorable.

That's why I am scared about what I am going to do with these dogs. Around here large dogs are a dime a dozen. That's what the shelters are full of and they al have waiting list for small dogs. If I don't find a home for them quickly, I don't know what will happen. I can't keep them. I have too many pets already and can't afford shots, fixing them, etc.
