Update on the pups!
I called the places Scotts recommended first and got answering machine. Left 3 messages!
Called local humane society and they are full.(which I knew, but tried anyway.) They told me to call animal control, I told them I didn't want to do that, as I believe they would put them down. Then they said to call next county humane society, said they were takind puppies!
Called next county humane society, they informed me they would not take them 'cuz they were strays!!
I told them, not until yesterday when they were dumped and they were very healthy and sociable! They didn't seem to care!
I thought about calling back and saying they were my dogs, but didn't want to sign anything that said I was a bad dog mommy!
Then I called animal control to see what they would say! Got answering machine!
About 2 pm. Scotts place called me back. (thank you)
Susan evidently has been doing animal rescues for a long time, but just got licensed for it about 9 months ago and is a very small operation! I want to share that info, 'cuz she was the only one that is actually going to help with these pups, after all the large operations that have been around forever turned me down!
She is also full. I told her I was reluctant to say I would foster them as I didn't want to get stuck with them indefinitely. She said that the responsibility would lie with her and I am putting my faith in that. I emailed her the pics so she could put them on her website. So, I guess now, we just wait and pray!

Get the puppies their shots and then put an add in the paper, sell them for the price you paid out for the vet, shots and the add. That way you don't have all your eggs in only one basket. The best hope of finding a home for these sweet babies is while they are still pups.

Bad news! No more pics as I took them back to my sister's so they would not be alone while I was working!
Good news! I had put out an email to all the members of my church and someone called today! She is interested in both, which is fantastic since they are so attached to each other! I gave her my sister's #. I believe she is going to look at (hopefully get) them tomorrow! Woo-hoo!
